一対の引手は、指掛け用の凹部が凹設された船形部と、船形部の開口縁から外方に延出されたフランジ板と、前記船形部の長辺方向両端部から船形部の長辺方向に突設された喰込片とで構成された本体と、
本体とは別体で構成され、前記喰込片が船形部の長辺方向において挿入される取付孔が形成された結合体とで構成され、
引戸の引手装着孔にその両側から引手を嵌め込んだ状態で、結合体同士の対向面に船形部の幅方向に一対の結合凸部と結合凹部とが隣接して配置されるように設けられており、
結合凹部には対向面側の引手の結合凸部が嵌まり込む結合空所が、対向する引手側に向けて開口しており、
結合凹部と結合凸部との接触面には挿入方向と交差する方向に多段の凹凸が形成されていることを特徴とする両面対向型引手。
