Claims (6)
- 複数枚の極板が積層されてなる積層型の極板群が金属製の電池缶の内部に収納されてなる大容量リチウムイオン電池であって、
前記電池缶の前記極板群の積層方向に位置して対向する一対の対向壁部には、それぞれ補強用リブがプレス成形により一体に形成されており、
前記極板群の積層方向と直交しかつ前記一対の対向壁部と連続する前記電池缶の一対の側壁部には、それぞれ補強用の側壁リブがプレス成形により一体に形成されており、
前記側壁部の2以上の箇所を2以上のパターンで前記極板群側に膨出させて形成した2以上の膨出部の周囲に連続する1つの前記補強用の側壁リブが形成されていることを特徴とする大容量リチウムイオン電池。 - 前記補強用リブは、前記対向壁部の1箇所を1つのパターンで前記極板群側に膨出させて形成した1つの膨出部の周囲に形成されている請求項1に記載の大容量リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記1箇所は前記対向壁部の中央領域である請求項2に記載の大容量リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記補強用リブは、前記対向壁部の1箇所を1つのパターンで前記極板群側に膨出させて1つの膨出部を形成することにより形成され、
前記1つのパターンは、前記1つの膨出部の外側に1つの前記補強用リブが形成され、前記膨出部の内側に1つの前記補強用リブが形成されるように形状が定められている請求項1に記載の大容量リチウムイオン電池。 - 前記対向壁部の2以上の箇所を2以上のパターンで前記極板群側に膨出させて形成した2以上の膨出部の周囲に連続する1つの前記補強用リブが形成されるように前記2以上のパターンの形状が定められている請求項1に記載の大容量リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記対向壁部の2箇所を2つのパターンで前記極板群側に膨出させて形成した2つの膨出部の間に連続する1つの前記補強用リブが形成され、前記1つの前記膨出部の外側に同心的に別の1つの前記膨出部が形成されるように前記2つのパターンの形状が定められている請求項1に記載の大容量リチウムイオン電池。
