Description
Claims (16)
- LEDドライバであって、
正弦波入力電流を受信する入力であって、前記入力電流が、第1の導通角を有する第1のサイクルと第2の導通角を有する第2のサイクルとを有する、前記入力と、
前記入力に接続され、整流された出力を有する整流器と、
前記整流された出力に結合される判定回路であって、前記第1のサイクルの振幅が前記第2のサイクルの振幅の所定の値内となるかどうかを示す出力を有する、前記判定回路と、
前記判定回路の出力に結合され、前記第1のサイクルを調節するための量を示す出力を有する平衡化回路と、
前記整流された出力に結合される入力と、前記平衡化回路の出力に結合される入力とを有するコンバータであって、前記第1のサイクルの振幅が前記第2のサイクルの振幅の前記所定の値内にないときに前記第1のサイクルの振幅が前記第2のサイクルの振幅に実質的に等しくなるように調節する、前記コンバータと、
を含む、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
前記コンバータがDC・DCコンバータである、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
前記第1のサイクルがDC成分を有し、前記コンバータが前記第1のサイクルの前記DC成分を調節する、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
前記コンバータと前記平衡化回路と前記判定回路とが単一の回路に統合される、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
前記判定回路が、前記第1のサイクルの振幅が前記第2のサイクルの振幅より低いか否かを判定し、前記2つの振幅のうちの一層大きい方の振幅を備えたサイクルを一層低い方の振幅まで調節する、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
各第1のサイクルがピークを有し、各第2のサイクルがピークを有し、前記第1のサイクルの振幅と前記第2のサイクルの振幅とが前記ピークに基づく、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
各第1のサイクルが谷を有し、各第2のサイクルが谷を有し、前記第1のサイクルの振幅と前記第2のサイクルの振幅とが前記谷に基づく、LEDドライバ。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDドライバであって、
前記LEDドライバが電球内に位置する、LEDドライバ。 - LEDを駆動するために電流波形を生成するプロセスであって、
第1のサイクルと第2のサイクルとを有する正弦波波形を整流することであって、前記正弦波波形が前記第1のサイクルの間に第1の導通角で減衰されて前記第2のサイクルの間に第2の導通角で減衰され、前記整流することが、第1の振幅を有する第1のサイクルと第2の振幅を有する第2のサイクルとを有する整流された電流を提供する、前記整流することと、
前記整流された電流の第1のサイクルの第1の振幅と第2のサイクルの第2の振幅とが所定の値より大きい差を有するか否かを判定することと、
前記第1の振幅と前記第2の振幅との間の前記差が所定の値より大きいときに、前記第1の振幅と前記第2の振幅との一層大きい方の振幅が減衰されるべき量を判定することと、
前記第1の振幅と前記第2の振幅との一層大きい方の振幅を前記第1の振幅と前記第2の振幅との一層低い方の振幅に調節することによって、前記整流された電流を変換された電流波形に変換することと、
前記変換された電流波形で前記LEDを駆動することと、
を含む、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅より大きく、前記調節することが、前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅にマッチするように前記第1のサイクルを減衰することを含む、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅の所定の値内であることを判定することと、
前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅の所定の値の範囲内に維持することと、
を更に含む、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
前記第1のサイクルがDC成分を有し、前記変換することが、前記第1のサイクルの前記DC成分を変えることによって成される、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
前記変換することがDC・DCコンバータによって成される、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅より小さく、前記変換することが、前記第1の振幅が前記第2の振幅にマッチするように前記第1のサイクルを増幅することを含む、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
各第1のサイクルがピークを有し、各第2のサイクルがピークを有し、前記第1のサイクルの振幅と前記第2のサイクルの振幅とが前記ピークに基づく、プロセス。 - 請求項9に記載のプロセスであって、
各第1のサイクルが谷(trough)を有し、各第2のサイクルが谷を有し、前記第1のサイクルの振幅と前記第2のサイクルの振幅とが前記谷に基づく、プロセス。
