Claims (5)
- 医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法であって、
可撓性を有する長尺なワイヤ本体の表面に、セルロースアセテート、セルロースアセテートプロピオネート及びセルロースアセテートブチレートから選択される熱可塑性を有するセルロース系高分子材料を溶融押出して被覆層を形成する被覆層形成ステップと、
前記熱可塑性を有するセルロース系高分子材料の少なくとも表面を強アルカリ性溶液で処理して非熱可塑性化するステップとを備える医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法。 - 前記被覆層の表面に、凹凸、又は、凸条を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法。
- 医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法であって、
可撓性を有する長尺なワイヤ本体の表面に、第1の熱可塑性を有する高分子材料及び前記第1の高分子材料とは種類の異なる第2の熱可塑性を有する高分子材料を溶融押出して、前記各高分子材料からそれぞれ形成される複数の領域を備えた被覆層を形成する被覆層形成ステップを備えており、
前記第1の高分子材料は、セルロースアセテート、セルロースアセテートプロピオネート及びセルロースアセテートブチレートから選択されるセルロース系高分子材料であり、
前記セルロース系高分子材料の少なくとも表面を強アルカリ性溶液で処理して非熱可塑性化するステップを更に備える医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法。 - 前記第2の高分子材料は、疎水性を有していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性を有する高分子材料及び前記第2の熱可塑性を有する高分子材料からそれぞれ形成される複数の領域を備えた前記被覆層は、乾燥状態においては、前記第2の高分子材料から形成される領域の表面が、前記第1の高分子材料から形成される領域の表面よりも外側に張り出すと共に、前記第1の高分子材料から形成される領域が水分を含んで膨潤した状態においては、前記第1の高分子材料から形成される領域の表面が、前記第2の高分子材料から形成される領域の表面よりも外側に張り出すように構成される請求項4に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤの製造方法。
