Description

Claims (23)
- セラミックマトリックス複合材料構造物を形成する方法であって、次の各工程:
セラミック繊維のプレフォームとプレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを含む少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を形成すること;
少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を引き抜く、整列させる、配置する、切断する、および再装着するように構成された改良された繊維の配置装置を用いて少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上を覆って配置し、それにより少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物を形成すること;および
少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物を少なくとも高温に曝露し、それにより少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物をセラミックマトリックス複合材料構造物に転化させること;

改良された繊維の配置装置を用いてプレプレグ化複合材料の最初の層を成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上に配置すること;および
改良された繊維の配置装置を用いてプレプレグ化複合材料の第二の層をプレプレグ化複合材料の最初の層の上に異なる配向で配置すること;
を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。 - 少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を形成することは、セラミック繊維の単一のトウ、セラミック繊維の複数のトウのテープ、およびセラミック繊維の複数のトウの織物のうちの少なくとも一つにプレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを浸透させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を形成することは、改良された繊維の配置装置によって切断するのに十分な剛性と成形型の少なくとも一つの表面に付着するのに十分な粘着性をプレプレグ化複合材料に付与するように、プレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを配合することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を形成することは、酸化物をベースとするセラミック繊維のプレフォームに酸化物をベースとするプレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを浸透させることを含み、酸化物をベースとするセラミック繊維のプレフォームは酸化物セラミックの繊維を含み、そして酸化物をベースとするプレセラミックマトリックスは酸化物セラミックのゾルと酸化物セラミックの充填材を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 酸化物セラミックの繊維にはアルミナ繊維、アルミナ-シリカ繊維およびアルミナ-ボリア-シリカ繊維のうちの少なくとも一つが含まれる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 酸化物セラミックのゾルにはアルミナゾル、シリカゾルおよびアルミナ-シリカゾルのうちの少なくとも一つが含まれ、そして酸化物セラミックの充填材にはアルミナとシリカのうちの少なくとも一つが含まれる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 酸化物をベースとするプレセラミックマトリックスは、成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上に配置する前および配置する間に少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料の剛性、粘着性および耐環境特性のうちの少なくとも一つを増大させるように配合された水溶性の有機物質をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。

- 非酸化物セラミックの繊維には炭化ケイ素繊維、窒化ケイ素繊維、炭素の心部の上の炭化ケイ素を含む繊維、チタンを含む炭化ケイ素の繊維、オキシ炭化ケイ素の繊維、オキシ炭窒化ケイ素の繊維および炭素繊維のうちの少なくとも一つが含まれる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 非酸化物プレセラミックのポリマーにはポリシロキサン、ポリシラザン、ポリシラン、ポリカーボシラン、ポリカーボシラザンおよびポリシルセスキオキサンのうちの少なくとも一つが含まれ、そして非酸化物セラミックの充填材には炭化ケイ素、窒化ケイ素、六ホウ化ケイ素、窒化ホウ素、炭化ホウ素、ホウ化チタン、炭化チタン、炭化ハフニウムおよび窒化アルミニウムのうちの少なくとも一つが含まれる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 非酸化物プレセラミックのポリマーは、成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上に配置する前および配置する間に少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料の剛性、粘着性および耐環境特性のうちの少なくとも一つを増大させるように配合される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物を少なくとも高温に曝露し、それにより少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物をセラミックマトリックス複合材料構造物に転化させることは、次の各工程:

少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を引き抜き、および整列させて、成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上を覆って少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を配置し、そして少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を切断し、および再装着するように構成された改良された繊維の配置装置、ここで、少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料はプレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを浸透させたセラミック繊維のプレフォームを含む;
少なくとも部分的に未硬化の複合材料構造物を硬化して、それにより実質的に硬化した複合材料構造物を形成するように構成された硬化装置;および
実質的に硬化した複合材料構造物を緻密にして、それによりセラミックマトリックス複合材料構造物を形成するように構成された緻密化装置;

- 改良された繊維の配置装置は、成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上を覆って少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料の配置を行う前および間に少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料の粘着性と剛性のうちの少なくとも一つを操作するように構成されている、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 改良された繊維の配置装置は、成形型の少なくとも一つの表面の上を覆って複数のプレプレグ化複合材料を同時に、順に、またはこれらの組合せで配置するように構成されている、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 改良された繊維の配置装置であって、次の各要素:
プレセラミックマトリックスのスラリーを浸透させたセラミック繊維のプレフォームを含む少なくとも一つのプレプレグ化複合材料を引き抜く、整列させる、配置する、切断する、および再装着するように構成された少なくとも一つの配置ヘッド;および

セラミック繊維の単一のトウ、セラミック繊維の複数のトウのテープ、またはセラミック繊維の複数のトウの織物を含むセラミック繊維プレフォーム;および
セラミック繊維プレフォームの上および周囲にあるプレセラミックマトリックスのスラリー;
