Description
本願は、2014年4月2日に日本に出願された特願2014−76058号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
図1は、本発明のプリプレグシート積層装置の一実施形態を模式的に示す平面図、図2は、本発明のプリプレグシート積層装置の一実施形態を模式的に示す側面図である。これらの図において符号1はプリプレグシート積層装置である。
プリプレグ原反P1は、炭素繊維やガラス繊維等の強化繊維(繊維)に熱可塑性樹脂や熱硬化性樹脂が含浸させられて50〜300μm程度の厚さに形成され、強化繊維(繊維)の方向が一定方向に揃うよう配向されて形成される。
この送り装置4の下流側には、図1、図2に示すように切断部22が配設されている。
切断部22は、前記の切断装置8、切断装置17と同様にカッターを有し、プリプレグシート積層物P5をその幅方向、すなわち図3に示すプリプレグ原反P1、プリプレグ原反P3の強化繊維Fの長さ方向と直交する方向に切断し、図1に示すように矩形状のプリプレグシート積層体P6を形成する。
例えば、前記実施形態では製造するプリプレグシート積層体として、4層構造の積層体を製造する装置について説明したが、複数層の積層体であれば、3層以下の積層体や5層以上の積層体を製造する装置に本発明を適用することができる。
具体的には、プリプレグカットシート形成部を1つに減らしてもよく、3つ以上に増やしてもよい。同様に、プリプレグ原反を最下層のプリプレグ原反P1上に送り出す送り出し装置12を、無くしてもよく、2つ以上に増やしてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 一方向に配向した繊維を有するプリプレグシートが複数枚積層されるとともに、少なくとも一層のプリプレグシートが他の層のプリプレグシートと繊維方向が異なるように積層されてなるプリプレグシート積層体を製造するプリプレグシート積層装置であって、
繊維方向が基準の方向に配向したプリプレグ原反を走行させるメイン搬送路と、
繊維方向が基準の方向に配向したプリプレグ原反を、予め設定された角度でその幅方向に切断してプリプレグカットシートを形成するプリプレグカットシート形成部と、
前記プリプレグカットシート形成部で形成したプリプレグカットシートを、前記メイン搬送路上を走行するプリプレグ原反上に移送するとともに、その繊維方向が予め設定された方向となるように、前記プリプレグ原反上に載置する移載ハンドと、
前記プリプレグ原反上に載置された先行するプリプレグカットシートと後続するプリプレグカットシートとの間の隙間を検出する隙間検出部と、
前記プリプレグ原反とこれに載置された前記プリプレグカットシートとを溶着する溶着部と、
前記メイン搬送路を走行する前記プリプレグ原反の上に、他のプリプレグ原反を送り出して、この他のプリプレグ原反も前記メイン搬送路を走行させる送り出し部と
を備えるプリプレグシート積層装置。 - 一方向に配向した繊維を有するプリプレグシートが複数枚積層されるとともに、少なくとも一層のプリプレグシートが他の層のプリプレグシートと繊維方向が異なるように積層されてなるプリプレグシート積層体を製造するプリプレグシート積層装置であって、
繊維方向が基準の方向に配向したプリプレグ原反を走行させるメイン搬送路と、
繊維方向が基準の方向に配向したプリプレグ原反を、予め設定された角度でその幅方向に切断してプリプレグカットシートを形成するプリプレグカットシート形成部と、
前記プリプレグカットシート形成部で形成したプリプレグカットシートを、前記メイン搬送路上を走行するプリプレグ原反上に移送するとともに、その繊維方向が予め設定された方向となるように、前記プリプレグ原反上に載置する移載ハンドと、
前記プリプレグ原反上に載置された先行するプリプレグカットシートと後続するプリプレグカットシートとの間の隙間を検出する隙間検出部と、
前記プリプレグ原反とこれに載置された前記プリプレグカットシートとを溶着する溶着部と、
前記溶着部によって溶着された前記プリプレグ原反と前記プリプレグカットシートとの積層体を切断して、プリプレグシート積層体を得る切断部と、
前記メイン搬送路を走行する前記プリプレグ原反の上に、他のプリプレグ原反を送り出して、この他のプリプレグ原反も前記メイン搬送路を走行させる送り出し部と
を備えるプリプレグシート積層装置。 - 前記プリプレグカットシート形成部を複数備えるとともに、これらのプリプレグカットシート形成部にそれぞれ対応して前記移載ハンドを複数備える請求項1に記載のプリプレグシート積層装置。
- 前記プリプレグカットシート形成部を複数備えるとともに、これらのプリプレグカットシート形成部にそれぞれ対応して前記移載ハンドを複数備える請求項2に記載のプリプレグシート積層装置。
- 前記複数の移載ハンドは、一つの移載ハンドが前記プリプレグ原反上に前記プリプレグカットシートを載置する際のプリプレグカットシートの繊維方向と、他の一つの移載ハンドが前記プリプレグ原反上に前記プリプレグカットシートを載置する際のプリプレグカットシートの繊維方向とが互いに異なるように構成されている請求項3または4に記載のプリプレグシート積層装置。
