溶融材料を固化させることにより形成され、軸線方向に異なる色調を有して並ぶ複数の芯材と、前記複数の芯材を囲繞するように保持する軸筒と、を備えた多色棒状物の製造方法であって、
各色調の溶融材料を吐出する各ノズルを纏めて、前記軸筒の空間部に上方から挿入する挿入工程と、
纏められた各ノズルを、ノズル先端が溶融材料の表面近傍に位置するように引き上げながら、各色調の溶融材料を各ノズルから順次吐出させ前記空間部に順次充填していく吐出・充填工程と、を備え、
前記吐出・充填工程では、先に吐出され前記空間部に充填された一の色調の溶融材料のヒケが始まる前に、他の色調の溶融材料を吐出させ前記空間部に充填していくことを特徴とする多色棒状物の製造方法。
