尚、図2にはベント配管は記載されていない。
(!)本発明の対象は燃料電池車で特に外周が円形の形状を有する燃料電池車である。
(2)本発明のバンパーの形状は円筒状で内部に空間を有し車外周の全周に設置する。
(3)バンパー内に窒素ガスを充填し衝突時に窒素を放出して車外に水素を追い出す。
(4)本発明の次期対象は車の自動走行に使われる燃料電池車向けのバンパーである。

Claims (4)
- 燃料電池車を衝突時の水素漏洩による火災爆発から護る安全手段であって、燃料電池車の座席部と完全に隔離された窒素雰囲気の貯蔵室に水素ボンベ、燃料電池及びその関連部品を収納し、更に車両本体の外周の全周に弾性を持つ円筒状のバンパーを取り付けて内部に窒素ガスを充填し、衝突等でバンパーから貯蔵室に通じる配管に設置した圧力検出器によりバンパー内の圧力が設定値以上に上昇したことを検出した場合、同配管に設置した窒素放出弁を開放させてバンパー内の窒素ガスを貯蔵室へ放出し、貯蔵室内のガスを貯蔵室から大気に通じるベント配管を通して窒素ガスと共に大気へ放出することを特徴とする燃料電池車向けの衝撃緩衝用バンパー。
- 前記燃料電池車の貯槽室に設置した水素検知器により貯蔵室内の水素濃度が設定値以上に上昇したことを検知した場合、前記の窒素放出弁とは別に独立させて設置した窒素放出弁を開放させる機能を備えてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃緩衝用バンパー。
- 前記バンパーから貯蔵室へ至る配管に窒素放出弁と隣接して同バンパーから放出される窒素ガスの流量を調整できる制限オリフィスを備えてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃緩衝用バンパー。
- 前記衝撃緩衝用バンパーを車両の外周の形状が円形又は楕円形で、タイヤ車軸の回転により車両を任意の方向へ進めることができる燃料電池車の外周の全周に備えてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃緩衝用バンパー。
