前記磁気素子の位置を追跡し、前記遠位針先端部の位置を判定する工程と、
前記遠位針先端部の追跡された位置を用いて、患者の体内に少なくとも前記遠位針先端部を挿入する工程と、を含む、方法。

前記磁気素子の位置を追跡する工程が三次元空間内で実施される、形態11に記載の使用方法。

磁気素子を針アセンブリに取り付ける方法であって、前記針アセンブリが、長手方向軸に沿って延在するカニューレを備え、

前記磁気素子の磁気軸が所望の所定の配向に固定されるように、前記磁気素子を前記磁場と実質的に整列しながら、前記磁気素子を前記針アセンブリの一部に固定する工程と、を含む、方法。

Claims (10)
- 磁気素子を針アセンブリに取り付ける方法であって、前記針アセンブリが、長手方向軸に沿って延在するカニューレを備え、
前記磁気素子の磁気軸が磁場と実質的に整列するように、前記磁場内に前記磁気素子を配置する工程と、
前記磁気素子の磁気軸が所望の所定の配向に固定されるように、前記磁気素子を前記磁場と実質的に整列しながら、前記磁気素子を前記針アセンブリの一部に固定する工程と、を含む、方法。 - 前記磁気素子を前記針アセンブリの一部に固定する工程が、前記磁気素子を前記針アセンブリのハブの一部に接着剤によって固定する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を前記針アセンブリの一部に固定する工程が、その磁気軸が前記カニューレの長手方向軸と実質的に同軸状に整列するように前記磁気素子を固定する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を固定する工程が、前記磁気素子を、前記針アセンブリのハブの安全容器内に光硬化性接着剤によって適所に固定する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を配置する工程が、前記磁気素子を、少なくとも1つの電磁石巻線内の磁場内に配置する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子が針アセンブリの一部内に配置され、前記針アセンブリの一部が前記少なくとも1つの電磁石巻線内に配置される取付具内に配置される、請求項5に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの電磁石巻線が、第1電磁石巻線を備える少なくとも上側ボビンと、第2電磁石巻線を備える下側コイルボビンと、を備えるアセンブリ内に含まれる、請求項6に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を配置する工程が、前記磁気素子を、少なくとも1つの電磁石巻線の外部の磁場内に配置する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を配置する工程が、前記磁気素子が陥凹部内で自由に動いて配向するように、前記磁気素子を、前記針アセンブリのハブ及び安全容器のうち一方の内部の陥凹部内に配置する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の取り付け方法。
- 前記磁気素子を磁場内に配置する工程が、前記磁場に対する前記磁気素子の自由な配向を可能にするために、前記陥凹部内にありながら前記磁気素子を振動させる工程を更に含む、請求項9に記載の取り付け方法。
