Description
a.2つ以上の平行な流路であって、各流路が、少なくとも1つのバイナリ制御弁および少なくとも1つの比例制御弁を直列で有する、流路;

c.2つ以上の平行な流路であって、1つ以上の流路がバイナリ制御弁を有し、および1つ以上の流路が比例制御弁を有する、流路;および
d.平行な流路において、2つ以上の比例制御弁と直列のバイナリ制御弁
を含み得る。
Claims (11)
- 治療用ガス源に接続する入口と;
治療用ガスを注入する装置に接続する出口と;
前記入口および出口と流体連通し、一定流量の前記治療用ガスを送達する少なくとも1つのバイナリ制御弁と;
前記入口および出口と流体連通し、可変流量の前記治療用ガスを送達する少なくとも1つの比例制御弁と;
前記バイナリ制御弁および前記比例制御弁の1つ以上を通して前記治療用ガスを送達する制御システムとを含み、
前記制御システムが、前記バイナリ制御弁および前記比例制御弁の1つ以上を通して、前記治療用ガスを呼吸ガスの流れに送達し、前記治療用ガスが一定濃度の状態で、前記治療用ガスと前記呼吸ガスとの複合流をもたらし、
前記バイナリ制御弁および前記比例制御弁が平行な流路にあり、
前記制御システムが、治療用ガス要求量が送達範囲の5%以上であるとき、前記比例制御弁を通して連続的な流れの前記治療用ガスを送達し、
前記治療用ガス要求量が前記送達範囲の1%以下であるとき、前記バイナリ制御弁を通して前記治療用ガスの1つ以上のパルスを送達する、
治療用ガス送達装置。 - 前記バイナリ制御弁が第1のバイナリ制御弁であり、前記治療用ガス送達装置が、さらに、前記第1のバイナリ制御弁に並列の第2のバイナリ制御弁を含む、請求項1に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記治療用ガスを送達するための、請求項1または2に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記第1のバイナリ制御弁および前記第2のバイナリ制御弁が、前記治療用ガスのパルスを異なる流量で送達する、請求項2に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記第1のバイナリ制御弁の前記流量対、前記第2のバイナリ制御弁の前記流量の比が、1:2〜1:10にわたる、請求項4に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記制御システムが、前記第1のバイナリ制御弁および、前記第2のバイナリ制御弁の1つ以上を通して、呼吸ごとに複数のパルスを送達する、請求項2,4,5のいずれか一項に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記治療用ガスを注入する前記装置が、人工呼吸器と流体連通している、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記治療用ガスを注入する前記装置が、鼻カニューレ、気管内チューブまたはフェイスマスクである、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記制御システムが、前記バイナリ制御弁および前記比例制御弁の1つ以上を通して、呼吸において単一パルスをもたらす、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記治療用ガス源が、一酸化窒素または一酸化窒素放出剤を含む、請求項1に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
- 前記治療用ガスには、一酸化窒素が含まれる、請求項1に記載の治療用ガス送達装置。
