Description
Claims (15)
- 車両の客室内のモバイルデバイスの機能を無効にする方法であって、
一つ以上の乗員センサによって出力された一つ以上の乗員センサ出力信号に基づいて前記客室内の乗員の数を判定するステップと、
前記客室内に存在する乗員の数が一人よりも多いと判定したことに応答して前記客室内の前記モバイルデバイスの位置を判定するステップと、
前記モバイルデバイスが前記位置にあり且つ前記客室内に存在する乗員の数が一人より多いと判定されたときに前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく無効メッセージを送信するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記客室内に存在する乗員の数が一人であると判定されたときに前記客室内の前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく前記無効メッセージを送信するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記位置は前記客室のドライバ区域である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記客室内の前記モバイルデバイスの位置を定期的に監視するステップを更に含み、前記モバイルデバイスの位置が前記客室のドライバ区域内であると判定されたときに前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく前記無効メッセージが送信される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記無効メッセージは、前記車両が走行モードに置かれているときに送信される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記車両が非走行モードにあるときに前記モバイルデバイスの機能を有効にすべく有効メッセージを送信するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 車両の客室内のモバイルデバイスの機能を無効にするためのシステムであって、
一つ以上のプロセッサと、
前記一つ以上のプロセッサに通信可能に結合された一つ以上の乗員センサと、
前記一つ以上のプロセッサに通信可能に結合されたネットワーク・インタフェース・ハードウェアと、
前記一つ以上のプロセッサに通信可能に結合され且つロジックを記憶する一つ以上のメモリモジュールと
を備え、
前記ロジックが前記一つ以上のプロセッサによって実行されると、当該システムは、
前記一つ以上の乗員センサによって出力された一つ以上の乗員センサ出力信号に基づいて前記客室内の乗員の数を判定し、
前記客室内に存在する乗員の数が一人よりも多いと判定したことに応答して前記客室内の前記モバイルデバイスの位置を判定し、
前記モバイルデバイスが前記位置にあり且つ前記客室内に存在する乗員の数が一人より多いと判定されたときに、前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく前記ネットワーク・インタフェース・ハードウェアを用いて無効メッセージを送信する、システム。 - 前記モバイルデバイスによって発せられたセルラー信号を示す一つ以上のセルラー信号センサ出力信号を提供するように前記一つ以上のプロセッサに通信可能に結合された一つ以上のセルラー信号センサを更に備える、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記一つ以上のセルラー信号センサの少なくとも一つが、
プロセッサと
前記モバイルデバイスによって発せられた前記セルラー信号を検出するために前記プロセッサに通信可能に結合されたアンテナと、
前記プロセッサに通信可能に結合され且つロジックを記憶するメモリと
を備え、
前記ロジックが前記プロセッサによって実行されると、前記一つ以上のセルラー信号センサの少なくとも一つは、前記モバイルデバイスから受信された前記セルラー信号にタイムスタンプを割り当てる、請求項8に記載のシステム。 - 当該システムはロジックを実行して車両ドライブモードを判定し、
前記車両ドライブモードは一つ以上の走行モード及び一つ以上の非走行モードを含み、
当該システムは、前記車両が前記一つ以上の走行モードの一つに置かれているときに、前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく、前記ネットワーク・インタフェース・ハードウェアを用いて前記無効メッセージを送信する、請求項7に記載のシステム。 - 前記システムは、前記車両が前記一つ以上の非走行モードの一つに置かれているときに、前記モバイルデバイスの機能を有効にすべく、前記ネットワーク・インタフェース・ハードウェアを用いて有効メッセージを送信する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記一つ以上の非走行モードは自律車両走行モードを含む、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記一つ以上のプロセッサは、さらに、前記システムに前記客室内の前記モバイルデバイスの位置を定期的に監視させ、前記モバイルデバイスの位置が前記客室のドライバ区域内であると判定されたときに前記モバイルデバイスの機能を無効にすべく前記無効メッセージが送信される、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 請求項7に記載のシステムを備えた車両。
- 前記ドライバ区域は、少なくとも、ドライバシートと、センターコンソールの少なくとも一部とを含む、請求項14に記載の車両。
