Description
[試験手順]
布帛の面密度は、10x10cm2の正方形の布帛の重量を量り、記録した重量(g)を100倍することにより、測定した。
布帛に対して、EN13595−2に従って耐摩耗性試験を実施する。引張強さは、Zwick引張試験機でISO 2062−93(A)に従って測定する。繊維の引張特性(すなわち、強さおよび弾性率)は、ASTM D885Mで規定されているように、マルチフィラメント糸で測定した。その際に、500mmの繊維の公称標点距離(nominal gauge length)、50%/分のクロスヘッド速度、Instron 2714クランプ(Fibre Grip D5618Cタイプのもの)を用いて行った。強さを計算するため、測定した引張力を、繊維10メートルの重さを計って求めた繊度(titre)で割った。値(GPa)は、ポリマーの自然密度(natural density)(例えば、UHMWPEの場合、0.97g/cm3)を想定して計算する。
[比較実験A(比較例A)]
単一層の平織り布帛Aを、単たて糸(single warp yarn)およびよこ糸から作った。たて糸Iは、引張強さが35cN/dtexである市販の繊維Dyneema(登録商標)SK62(440dtex)のコア糸(core yarn)の周囲に、綿のNm80/2カバー糸(cover yarn)を3000回転/mで螺旋状に巻き付いたものから構成される。布帛は、糸の全組成に対して29重量%のDyneema(登録商標)SK62および71重量%の綿から構成される。よこ糸は、綿の紡績糸IIであった。得られた布帛は、米国特許出願公開第2007/0249250号明細書に開示されている布帛に相当するものである。
布帛Bの典型的な断片を、商標HELDの市販のジーンズから切り取った。目視検査では、綿が単たて糸として使用され、よこ糸はKevlar(登録商標)繊維で作られていることが分かった。布帛は、糸の全組成に対して60重量%の綿および40重量%のKevlar(登録商標)からなっているものである。いろいろな方向(たて方向、よこ糸方向、および45°)の布帛Bの耐摩耗試験結果が、表1に示されている。
材料: 種々の糸を、単一層布帛の中で、たて糸A、たて糸Bおよびよこ糸として使用した。
たて糸I: 引張強さが35cN/dtexである市販の繊維Dyneema(登録商標)SK62(440dtex)のコア糸の周囲に、綿のNm80/2カバー糸を3000回転/mで螺旋状に巻き付けたものから構成されるコア糸。布帛は、糸の全組成に対して60重量%の綿および40重量%のKevlar(登録商標)から構成されるものである。
糸II: 100%綿紡績糸(OENe6/1 Nm10/1)
糸III: 37重量%のDyneema(登録商標)SK75ステープルと63重量%のナイロン6ステープルとから作られた、打込数がNm17/1の紡績糸
糸IV: 100%のDyneema(登録商標)SK75ステープルからできた、打ち込み数がNm17/1の紡績糸
糸V: 糸IIおよび糸IVをよこ糸として交互に織り込んだもの
Claims (17)
- よこ糸および最大で2種類のたて糸AおよびBを含む織布帛であって、
前記よこ糸が、引張強さが少なくとも2.5N/テックスである高性能繊維を含み、
前記たて糸Aが少なくとも50重量%の天然繊維を含み、
前記たて糸Bが、引張強さが少なくとも2.5N/テックスである高性能ポリオレフィン繊維を含み、さらに
前記布帛が、前記たて糸Aを含む外層と前記たて糸Bを含む内層とを有し、前記外層および内層が少なくとも部分的に前記よこ糸によって相互につながれている、織布帛。 - 前記天然繊維が綿または羊毛である、請求項1に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸Bが少なくとも1重量%の前記高性能ポリオレフィン繊維を含む、請求項1または2に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸が少なくとも10重量%の前記高性能繊維を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- たて糸Aが、ポリアミド、ポリエステル、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルアルコールおよびポリアクリロニトリルから選択される合成繊維;および/または引張強さが少なくとも2.5N/テックスである高性能繊維;および/または綿、大麻、羊毛、絹、ジュート、リネン以外の他の天然繊維をさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸の前記高性能繊維が、芳香族ポリアミド繊維、液晶性ポリマー繊維、ポリベンゾイミダゾール繊維、ポリベンゾオキサゾール繊維、ポリアリレート繊維、高配向ポリエチレン繊維および高配向ポリプロピレン繊維を含む群から選択される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸Bの前記高性能ポリオレフィン繊維が、高配向ポリエチレン繊維および高配向ポリプロピレン繊維から選択される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸および前記たて糸Bの高性能繊維の量が、少なくとも10重量%であり、前記重量%が、前記よこ糸およびたて糸Bに含まれる高性能繊維の累積重量と、前記よこ糸および前記たて糸Bの累積重量との比率である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸および前記たて糸Bの高性能繊維の量が、少なくとも50重量%であり、前記重量%が、前記よこ糸およびたて糸Bに含まれる高性能繊維の累積重量と、前記よこ糸および前記たて糸Bの累積重量との比率である、請求項8に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸Bが紡績糸である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸が連続フィラメント糸である、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸Bが、綿、大麻、羊毛、絹、ジュート、リネン、および合成繊維(ポリアミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリエステル、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルアルコールおよびポリアクリロニトリル)を含む群から選択される少なくとも1種の繊維をさらに含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記よこ糸が、綿、大麻、羊毛、絹、ジュート、リネン、および合成繊維(ポリアミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリエステル、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルアルコールおよびポリアクリロニトリル)を含む群から選択される少なくとも1種の繊維をさらに含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸BがUHMWPE繊維を含み、前記よこ糸が芳香族ポリアミド繊維を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 前記たて糸Aが実質的に綿からなり、前記たて糸Bが実質的にUHMWPEステープルファイバーからなる紡績糸であり、さらに前記よこ糸が実質的にUHMWPE連続フィラメントからなる、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の布帛。
- 衣服、裏張り、スポーツ服、手袋、カーテン、椅子張り布帛および床材の製造のための、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の布帛の使用。
- 請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の布帛を含む製品であって、衣服、裏張り、スポーツ服、手袋、カーテン、椅子張り布帛および床材を含む群から選択される製品。
