Description
Claims (8)
- 薬物送達デバイス(10)であって、
薬物で充填されたカートリッジ、または薬物で充填されたカートリッジ(30)を受容するように適合されたコンパートメントであり、前記カートリッジが、本体部分、軸方向に変位可能なピストン(31)、およびフローコンジットと流体連通状態に構成されるように適合された遠位の出口部分を備える、薬物で充填されたカートリッジまたはコンパートメントと、
吐出組立体であり、
再充電可能な電源(15)、
前記電源(15)を再充電するために、外部電源(20)の外部コネクタを接続できる電気的なコネクタ(12)、
装填されたカートリッジ(30)の前記ピストン(31)に係合するように適合された軸方向に変位可能なピストン駆動部材(13)、
前記ピストン駆動部材を遠位方向に駆動して、それにより、装填されたカートリッジから薬物を吐出するためのモータ(14)、および
前記モータを制御するためのコントローラ(40)
を備える吐出組立体とを備え、
前記コントローラは、前記外部電源(20)が前記電気的なコネクタに接続されていることを示す状態を検出し、その後に、前記吐出組立体を使用停止にし、それにより、外部電源が前記電気的なコネクタに接続されているときには、装填されたカートリッジから薬物を吐出できないように適合されている、薬物送達デバイス(10)。 - 前記コントローラは、接続された前記外部コネクタの物理的な存在を検出するように適合されている、請求項1に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、前記電気的なコネクタに電圧が供給されていることを検出するように適合されている、請求項1に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記吐出組立体は、吐出すべき薬物の用量をユーザが設定できるようにする設定手段を備え、かつ
前記コントローラは、前記外部電源(20)が接続されていることを示す状態が検出されたとき、前記設定手段を使用停止にするように適合されている、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。 - ディスプレイ(11)をさらに備え、前記コントローラが、前記外部電源(20)が接続されていることを示す状態が検出されたとき、前記吐出組立体が使用停止になっていることを示すべく前記ディスプレイを制御するように適合されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記電気的なコネクタ(12)内に受容されるように適合された外部コネクタ(22)を備える外部電源(20)と組み合わせることにより、前記電源を充電するように適合されている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 外部デバイスから用量設定データを受け取ることを可能にする通信手段をさらに備え、前記コントローラが、受け取った用量設定データを記憶し、かつ前記モータを制御して前記ピストン駆動部材を移動させ、それにより、設定された用量に対応する薬物量を吐出するように適合されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記コントローラはクロックを備え、かつ少なくとも2つの事前設定された用量を表す用量設定データを記憶するように適合され、各事前設定された用量が、日および/または週の時間期間と関連付けられ、また
前記コントローラが、実際の時間に従って、前記モータを制御して前記ピストン駆動部材を移動させ、それにより、記憶された投与量を吐出するように適合されている、請求項7に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
