表5に示す処方に従い、室温下、下記方法でゲル状防虫剤組成物(本発明品4)および比較品2のゲル組成物を調製した。
すなわち、エタノール6.7gに、マキノ式の粉砕機にて粉砕したゴボウ微粉末(粒度40メッシュパス)1.0g、ヒドロキシプロピル化グアーガム10gをエタノール79gに溶解したものを加え、攪拌した後水を加えて100gとしたもののうち50gを100mlビーカーに充填し、本発明品4とした。
なお、比較品としては、ヒドロキシプロピル化グアーガム10gをエタノール80gに溶解し、攪拌した後水を加えて100gとしたもののうち50gを100mlビーカーに充填したもの(比較品2)を用いた。
