利用者の操作によって定常姿勢から操作姿勢に変更される操作部材と、当該操作部材に隣接して配置される隣接部材とを備える家具であって、
前記操作部材に設けられ、前記操作部材が前記操作姿勢とされたときに前記操作部材と隣接部材とによって生じる隙間を閉塞する遮蔽部を備え
前記操作部材が、水平方向に延設される枢軸と、表裏面を上下に向ける板状とされると共に当該枢軸を中心として先端側が上昇されることで前記操作姿勢とされる操作プレートとを備え、
前記隣接部材が、前記定常姿勢の前記操作部材における前記操作プレートと同一高さに配置されると共に表裏面を上下に向けるフランジを備え、
前記遮蔽部は、前記操作プレートの前記フランジ側の縁部から下方に突出すると共に、前記操作部材と前記隣接部材との配列方向に表裏面を向ける遮蔽片からなり、
前記遮蔽片は、前記操作プレートの奥側から先端側に向かうに連れて下方に向かうと共に下方に向けて露出された傾斜辺を有する
