Description
式中、Y′1−Y″1は、中性、即ち帯電していないキレート配位子を表す。Y′1−Y″1は、金属中心に配位することができる。
一般に、OLEDは、アノードとカソードとの間に配置され且つそれらと電気的に接続された少なくとも1つの有機層を含む。電流が流された場合、有機層(1又は複数)にアノードは正孔を注入し、カソードは電子を注入する。注入された正孔と電子はそれぞれ反対に帯電した電極に向かって移動する。電子と正孔が同じ分子上に局在する場合、励起エネルギー状態を有する局在化された電子−正孔対である「励起子」が形成される。励起子が発光機構によって緩和するときに光が発せられる。いくらかの場合には、励起子はエキシマー又はエキシプレックス上に局在化されうる。非放射機構、例えば、熱緩和も起こりうるが、通常は好ましくないと考えられる。

両方をもつ、新しい群の高いリン光性をもつ銅錯体を提供する。このカルベン配位子が錯体に安定性を与え、リン光性を高めると考えられる。キレートアニオン配位子は高い三重項エネルギーの配位子であり、金属から配位子への電荷移動相互作用をサポートすることができる。この群の錯体は、高いエネルギーのリン光をもたらすことができ、これはドーピングされたOLEDの製造に有用であることができ、そのOLED中では銅錯体は発光性ドーパントである。これらの物質は、OLED構造中での発光性ドーパントをサポートするためのホスト物質としても用いることができる。例えば、この群の化合物のなかのジピリジルボレート錯体は、固体状態において、475nmの発光極大と0.95のフォトルミネッセンス効率を有する。ピリジル基の好適な置換基は、実質的にこの発光を赤色移動又は青色移動(レッドシフト又はブルーシフト)させることができる。発光エネルギーを調整することができる能力は、これらの銅錯体をOLEDのための優れた発光体及びホスト物質にすることができる。発光エネルギーは、これらの化合物を深青色から紫色の発光ドーパントのために適したホスト物質にするために充分に大きく移動させることができると考えられる。
式中、Y′1−Y″1は、中性、即ち帯電していないキレート配位子を表す。Y′1−Y″1は、金属中心に配位することができる。
Claims (4)
- 下記式:
(式中、*Cは一価の銅原子(Cu(I))に配位したカルベン炭素であり;
X1及びX2は、それぞれX1中の原子X’1及びX2中の原子X’2が*Cと結合しており、前記X’1及びX’2はNであり、かつX1及びX2は連結して下記式:
(式中、各Rは独立に、水素、アルキル、アルケニル、アルキニル、アリールアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリール、及びヘテロアリールからなる群から選択される)
を形成しており、
Y1及びY2は結合し、一緒になって以下のもの:
(式中、Xは、NR、O、及びSからなる群から選択され;
前記NRのそれぞれのRは独立に、アルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリール、及びヘテロアリールからなる群から選択され;
さらにY1及びY2が結合して形成される上記二座配位子のそれぞれの環は、水素、アルキル、アルコキシ、アミノ、ヘテロアルキル、アリール、及びヘテロアリールからなる群から選択された基又は置換基で置換されている。)
