Description
(1) 電気生理学的カテーテルと、患者インタフェースユニット(PIU)を含むナビゲーションシステムとを連結するためのドングルであって、

第2の電気的インタフェースユニットを備えた支持部分と、

(3) 前記支持部分が、コイルばねを備える、実施態様1に記載のドングル。
(4) 前記第1の電気的インタフェースユニットが、電気プラグを受容するのに適応した電気的接続ポートを備える、実施態様1に記載のドングル。
(5) 前記第2の電気的インタフェースユニットが、電気的接続ポートに受容させるのに適応した電気的接続プラグを備える、実施態様1に記載のドングル。
(7) 前記電気信号が、患者の身体内の電気的活動を表す、実施態様6に記載のドングル。
(8) 前記電気信号が、患者の身体内の前記カテーテルの遠位部分の位置データを表す、実施態様6に記載のドングル。
(9) 前記電気的インタフェースユニットが、前記カテーテルへRFエネルギーを伝達するように適応される、実施態様4に記載のドングル。
(10) 前記本体が、少なくとも1つのプリント回路基板を収納する、実施態様1に記載のドングル。
Claims (8)
- 電気生理学的カテーテルと、患者インタフェースユニット(PIU)を含むナビゲーションシステムとを連結するためのドングルであって、
前記カテーテルの近位端においてコントロールハンドルの近位端と接続されるように構成された、第1の電気的インタフェースユニットを備えた本体と、
前記患者インタフェースユニットと接続されるように構成された、第2の電気的インタフェースユニットを備えた支持部分と、
プリント回路基板と、を備え、
前記支持部分が、形状記憶を備えた外側可撓性管状部材と、第1及び第2の端部と、を有し、前記外側可撓性管状部材が、前記第2の電気的インタフェースユニットにおける当該第1の端部にて終端し、前記本体における第2の端部にて終端し、前記外側可撓性管状部材が同時に複数の方向に曲がるように構成されており、
前記プリント回路基板が前記本体に収容され、前記第1の電気的インタフェースユニット及び前記第2の電気的インタフェースユニットと結線され、前記プリント回路基板が前記第1の電気的インタフェースユニットを通じて前記カテーテルより受信した電気信号を処理するように構成されており、
前記外側可撓性管状部材がコイルばねにより形成され、前記本体における前記プリント回路基板から前記支持部分における前記第2の電気的インタフェースユニットへの結線を保護するように、前記外側可撓性管状部材が延在し、
当該コイルばねの前記外側可撓性管状部材の長手軸に直交する軸方向の直径が前記長手軸に沿って変化する
ドングル。 - 前記第1の電気的インタフェースユニットが、電気プラグを受容するのに適応した電気的接続ポートを備える、請求項1に記載のドングル。
- 前記第2の電気的インタフェースユニットが、電気的接続ポートに受容させるのに適応した電気的接続プラグを備える、請求項1に記載のドングル。
- 前記電気信号が、患者の身体内の電気的活動を表す、請求項1に記載のドングル。
- 前記電気的インタフェースユニットが、前記カテーテルへRFエネルギーを伝達するように適応される、請求項2に記載のドングル。
- 前記カテーテルからの前記電気信号が、患者の身体内の前記カテーテルの遠位部分の位置データを表すように構成されている、請求項1に記載のドングル。
- 前記外側可撓性管状部材が内側コイルばね及び当該内側コイルばねの周りに包まれた外側セクショナルワイヤを備える、請求項1に記載のドングル。
- 前記外側セクショナルワイヤの各区分が内側頂点を有する三角形の断面を備え、前記内側コイルばねの各区分が、離接する対の2つの前記内側頂点の間に入れ子になっている、請求項7に記載のドングル
