Description
以下、本発明の第1の実施形態の充電率平準化装置及びそれを備えた電源システムについて、図1〜図5を参照して説明する。
以下、本発明の第2の実施形態の充電率平準化装置及びそれを備えた電源システムについて、図6〜図8を参照して説明する。

Claims (3)
- 組電池が有する複数の電池セルの充電率を平準化する充電率平準化装置であって、
前記組電池とは別体に設けられ、当該組電池とは異なる負荷に電力を供給する補助電池に接続された電池セル充電手段と、
前記補助電池の電力により前記電池セルを充電するように、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれを前記電池セル充電手段に選択的に接続可能な充電用接続切替手段と、
前記補助電池に接続された補助電池充電手段と、
前記電池セルの電力により前記補助電池を充電するように、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれを前記補助電池充電手段に選択的に接続可能な放電用接続切替手段と、
前記充電用接続切替手段を制御して、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれの充電率の差が小さくなるように前記複数の電池セルのうちから選択された一の電池セルを前記電池セル充電手段に接続し、前記放電用接続切替手段をさらに制御して、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれの充電率の差が小さくなるように前記複数の電池セルのうちから選択された一の電池セルを前記補助電池充電手段に接続する接続切替制御手段と、を有し、
前記複数の電池セルのうちの両電極間の電圧の最も高い最高電圧電池セル及び前記電圧の最も低い最低電圧電池セルを検出する電池セル検出手段と、
前記最高電圧電池セルの充電率及び前記最低電圧電池セルの充電率を検出する充電率検出手段と、をさらに備え、
前記接続切替制御手段が、前記最高電圧電池セルの充電率及び前記最低電圧電池セルの充電率の少なくとも一方が基準充電率範囲から外れかつこれら充電率の差分値が差分上限値を超えていたとき、前記放電用接続切替手段を制御して前記最高電圧電池セルを前記補助電池充電手段に接続し、前記充電用接続切替手段を制御して前記最低電圧電池セルを前記電池セル充電手段に接続することを特徴とする充電率平準化装置。 - 前記電池セル検出手段が、1つの電圧検出手段と、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれを前記電圧検出手段に選択的に接続可能な電圧検出用接続切替手段とを有し、
前記電圧検出用接続切替手段が、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれを前記補助電池充電手段にも選択的に接続可能にすることにより前記放電用接続切替手段も兼ねるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充電率平準化装置。 - 組電池と、前記組電池が備える複数の電池セルの充電率を平準化する充電率平準化装置と、を備えた電源システムであって、
前記充電率平準化装置が、請求項1又は2に記載の充電率平準化装置で構成されていることを特徴とする電源システム。
