Claims (2)
- 真空チャンバで囲われた電子線発生源から電子線照射窓を介して前記真空チャンバの外部へ電子線を照射可能な電子線照射装置であって、
前記電子線照射窓は、
グリッドと、
電子線が透過可能な窓箔と、
前記グリッドとの間で前記窓箔を押える枠状の押え部材と、を有しており、
前記グリッドは、
電子線が通過可能な格子領域と、
前記格子領域の材料と異なる材料で、前記格子領域の周囲に形成された外周領域と、で構成されており、
前記外周領域の軟化温度は、前記格子領域のものよりも高く、
前記格子領域の熱伝導率は、前記外周領域のものよりも高く、
前記格子領域には、冷媒が通過可能な冷却回路が設けられており、
前記外周領域の表面には、環状の溝部が設けられており、
前記格子領域と前記外周領域との界面が段差を含み、前記窓箔に垂直な方向から見て前記冷却回路と溝部とが少なくとも部分的に重なるように構成されており、
前記溝部と前記窓箔との間で金属製のガスケットが押えられている
ことを特徴とする電子線照射装置。 - 前記溝部を構成する角部のうち、前記環状の溝部の内周側で前記窓箔と接する角部が鈍角である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子線照射装置。
