Description

The present invention relates to a deodorant and a cleaning method.

Chlorine-based cleaning agents are widely used in cleaning (cleaning) kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, rooms, and the like. Chlorine-based cleaning agents are effective for removing mold or bleaching objects, but on the other hand, there is a problem that a unique residual scent (so-called chlorine odor) is generated after cleaning. Since the chlorine odor causes discomfort to many people, it is desired to remove the chlorine odor.

As a method of coping with chlorine odor, a method of giving another scent by using a fragrance or an aromatic substance to make the chlorine odor less noticeable is known. For example, Patent Document 1 describes a deodorizing composition to which an aromatic substance is added in order to suppress a chlorine odor.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 8-10314

In recent years, a composition containing no fragrance or aromatic substance may be required. However, Patent Document 1 merely makes it difficult for the chlorine odor to be perceived by the aromatic substance, and it is difficult to obtain the deodorizing effect of the chlorine odor without the fragrance or the aromatic substance.

On the other hand, the present invention provides a technique capable of deodorizing a chlorine odor regardless of a fragrance or an aromatic substance.

Further, this deodorant preferably contains a buffer and has a buffering action.

2. Examples The inventors of the present application have prepared a deodorant according to an embodiment. Furthermore, the inventors sprayed the prepared deodorant into the air indoors and evaluated the odor after spraying using a sensory test by 10 testers.

The deodorant was adjusted as follows. First, the component (A) was added to water. The components (A) include hydrochloric acid (an example of an inorganic acid, Experimental Example 1), benzoic acid (an example of a monovalent carboxylic acid, Experimental Example 2), malic acid (an example of a divalent carboxylic acid, Experimental Example 3), and citrus. Acids (an example of a trivalent carboxylic acid; Experimental Example 4) and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (an example of a tetravalent carboxylic acid; Experimental Examples 5 and 6) were used. The component (A) was adjusted so that the concentration was 1 mM.

Next, an alkaline solution was added to this aqueous solution. NaOH was used as the alkaline solution. The alkaline solution was added until the pH was 8.0. For some samples (Experimental Example 6), buffer was added. Trishydroxymethylaminomethane was used as the buffer solution. Trishydroxymethylaminomethane was added to 10 mM.

Figure 0006781866
The composition of each sample (Experimental Examples 1 to 6) is as follows. It does not contain any ingredients other than those listed in the table below.
Figure 0006781866

A sensory test was conducted to confirm the deodorizing effect using the deodorants of Experimental Examples 1 to 7. The test method is as follows. First, a chlorine-containing detergent (chlorine-based detergent) is sprayed onto the plastic surface. Then, each deodorant of Experimental Examples 1 to 7 is sprayed. Ten examiners evaluate the odor after spraying. The odor is evaluated on the following five stages.
1: No change (with chlorine odor)
2: I feel that the chlorine odor has been reduced.
3: The chlorine odor has been reduced, but the chlorine odor still remains.
4: It can be seen that the chlorine odor has disappeared, but it is not complete (a slight chlorine odor remains).
5: The chlorine odor completely disappeared.

Figure 0006781866
Table 2 shows the results of the sensory test.
Figure 0006781866
The odor level was scored (level 1: 1 point, level 5: 5 point), and the average value of the evaluation results by 10 examiners was described as the average score. According to this result, the deodorant (Experimental Example 6) in which ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid was used as the component (A) and the buffer solution of the component (C) was added had the highest deodorizing effect. Next, in the sample to which the buffer solution was not added, the deodorizing effect of the sample using benzoic acid as the component (A) (Experimental Example 2) and the sample using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Experimental Example 5) was high. Compared with the sample using an inorganic acid (Experimental Example 1), the sample using an organic acid (Experimental Examples 2 to 6) had a higher deodorizing effect. It was confirmed that the sample using an inorganic acid (Experimental Example 1) also had a deodorizing effect as compared with simple hydrochloric acid (Experimental Example 7).
