Description

The present invention relates to a board used for stand-up paddle surfing (hereinafter, may be abbreviated as SUP), that is, a stand-up paddle surfboard, and more particularly to the above-mentioned board in which punctures, air leaks, etc. are eliminated.

SUP is performed using a board that is more stable than the general surfboard used for surfing (hereinafter referred to as SUP surfboard), and as a marine sport to enjoy on calm water surface, recently, for men and women of all ages including children. It is gaining popularity.

Conventionally, the surfboard for SUP is generally made of an air body of one air chamber manufactured by using a three-dimensional structure cloth having watertightness and airtightness (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-342047, 2002-337260, etc.). ..
That is, a SUP surfboard having a shape similar to that of a surfboard in appearance is created in one air chamber using a three-dimensional structural cloth, and the air chamber is filled with air.

In such a configuration, air is filled at a high pressure so as not to bend even if a person rides on it, so that the risk of air leakage and puncture increases. In addition, even if SUP is a calm sport performed on the water surface, when there are floating objects with protrusions, for example, there are large floating objects or structures in the water without protrusions, etc. When they come into contact with each other, cracks or breakages sometimes occur, which leads to air leakage or puncture, and there is a risk of submersion in a board composed of an air body having only one air chamber.

In addition, in the case of a one-chamber SUP board made of three-dimensional structure cloth, air is evacuated and folded for transportation and storage when not in use, but if these are for a long period of time, there will be creases in the folded part. It may occur, and this broken wrinkle portion may cause cracks or breakage, which may lead to the above-mentioned danger.

In addition, in the case of SUP sports, in recent years, stretching and yoga on the SUP board have frequently been performed in order to cultivate a further sense of balance.
If such an exercise is performed on the SUP board, problems peculiar to the SUP board, such as frequent scratches due to friction, naturally occur on the surface of the SUP board.

On the other hand, as a board for surfing, a three-dimensional structure cloth is used to form a two-chamber structure with a central part and a peripheral part (EP2808245A1), and the front part is made of a hard material and the rear part is a three-dimensional structure. A flexible material such as cloth, or a hard material for the front part and the rear part, and the flexible material for the central part connecting them (WO2014 / 191917A1) has also been proposed.

However, with a board with two air chambers, if air leakage or puncture occurs in one air chamber, it is difficult to prevent air leakage or puncture itself, although submersion can be avoided to some extent because the other air chamber exists. is there. In addition, each air chamber is filled with air at a high pressure so as not to bend even if a person rides on it, so that air leakage and puncture are likely to occur.
In addition, a board having only the front part or a board made of a hard material for the front part and the rear part is useful as a board for surfing that cuts through the water surface or directly below it, or cuts the wave front, or requires high speed. However, in a SUP board for the purpose of gentle marine sports, if the central part where the load is the highest is made of flexible material, air leakage and puncture are likely to occur.
Moreover, in any of the above-mentioned boards having two air chambers and a hybrid type of hard material and flexible material, when the keel is provided, the keel is generally installed in the central part. Therefore, since it is provided in the flexible material part and plays a role of imparting drag and stability to the board, there is an extremely high possibility that damage such as cracks will occur in the keel installation part where a large load is applied.

特開平11−342047Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-342047 特開2002−337260JP-A-2002-337260 EP2808245A1EP2808245A1 WO2014/191917A1WO2014 / 191917A1

In consideration of the above points, the present invention minimizes the occurrence of cracks, breakage, fraying, etc. in the SUP board, and even if air leakage or puncture occurs, it does not lead to submersion. Moreover, when it is desired to provide keels, fins, etc., it is an object of the present invention to provide a SUP board that not only makes it difficult for damage such as cracks to occur, but also facilitates the work of installation itself.

The SUP board of the present invention is a stand-up paddle surfboard having a hard portion.
The central part is composed of a hard synthetic resin plate-like body having a plate-like cylinder that opens in the front-rear direction.
The periphery of the central part consists of two or more air chambers made of watertight and airtight three-dimensional structure cloth.
The central end of the air chamber is inserted and integrated into the front and rear of the plate-shaped cylinder .
Moreover, the plate-shaped tubular body and the air chamber portion are joined to each other.
The plate-shaped cylinder may be provided with a locking portion in the vicinity of the opening.
Further, the plate-shaped cylinder and the air chamber may be bonded by a tape-shaped adhesive.

According to the SUP board having a hard part of the present invention, there is an airtight part made of a watertight and airtight three-dimensional structure cloth around a hard synthetic resin plate-like body in the central part, and two or more of these air chambers are used. If there are multiple chambers, even if air leaks or punctures occur in one air chamber, the hard synthetic resin plate in the center and the other air chambers maintain buoyancy, resulting in submersion. There is no.
In addition, since a person who performs SUP (hereinafter, "rider") generally rides on a hard synthetic resin plate-like body located at the center of the board of the present invention, the rider in SUP causes an excessive amount on the board. Even if a load is applied, this load is mainly received by the rigid synthetic resin plate-like body. Therefore, the shape of the board can be sufficiently maintained even if the air chambers located around or in the front and rear of the central portion are not filled with air at high pressure. That is, since it is not necessary to fill the air chamber with air at high pressure, the risk of air leakage and puncture can be reduced. In particular, the above effect is great when stretching or yoga is frequently performed on the board.
Further, when the keel is provided, since it can be integrally molded with the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body, damage such as cracks in the keel installation portion and the peripheral portion thereof is less likely to occur, and the work of the installation itself becomes easy.

In the board of the present invention, since the air chamber portion made of the three-dimensional structural cloth is provided around the hard synthetic resin plate-like body, the weight of the board can be reduced.
Of course, further weight reduction can be achieved by providing the air chambers made of three-dimensional structural cloth on both side portions together with the front and rear portions of the hard synthetic resin plate-like body.

Then, the balance of the board itself can be improved not only when the air chambers made of the three-dimensional structure cloth are provided on the front and rear portions of the hard synthetic resin plate-like body but also on both sides. It is possible to provide a board that can be easily operated not only by men and women of all ages but also by children and is even easier to SUP.

As shown in FIG. 1, the SUP board of the present invention has a rigid synthetic resin plate-like body 1 in the central portion, and the peripheral portion, in this example, the front side and the rear side are watertight and airtight three-dimensional structure cloth air chambers. It consists of parts 2 and 3.
In this example, as shown in FIG. 2A, the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 is composed of two hard synthetic resin plates, one on the upper side, that is, the front side 11, and the other, the lower side, that is, the hard synthetic resin plate on the back side 12. It is a plate-shaped cylinder (in the figure, "C" indicates an internal space) in which the sheets are combined. As shown in FIG. 2A, these two hard synthetic resin plates 11 and 12 have a curved shape in which the upper resin plate 11 bulges upward and the lower resin plate 12 bulges downward. It has a shape, and the lower side surface and the upper side surface are connected at the peripheral edge portion of the upper and lower resin plates 11 and 12 in the length direction (that is, both side portions), and the front and rear air chamber portions 2 and 3 attachment portions are opened, respectively. ing.

The joint portions 13 of the upper and lower two rigid synthetic resin plates 11 and 12 may be brought into surface contact and bonded with an adhesive, or may be fused using heat, a solvent, or the like. The bonding mode may be as shown in 2 (B).
That is, the lower surface side edge portion of the upper resin plate 11 exhibiting a curved shape is formed so as to project downward so that the cross section is substantially convex, and the upper surface side edge portion of the lower resin plate 12 exhibiting a curved shape is formed. , The cross section having the concave portion suitable for the convex shape is formed so as to be substantially concave, and these concave and convex shapes are fitted and joined.

In this case, as shown in FIG. 2C, when the air chambers are inserted in the vicinity of the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3 mounting openings of the synthetic resin plate 1 exhibiting the plate-shaped cylinder, respectively. A locking piece 14 may be provided so as to serve as a stopper for the above.

Further, the configuration of the connecting portion 13 is not limited to the above-mentioned concave / convex shape, and may be a combination of a V-shape and an inverted V-shape that matches the V-shape, and the upper / lower plate bodies 11 and 12 are firmly formed. Any configuration may be used as long as it is combined.

The hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 may be formed of two upper and lower hard synthetic resin plates as described above, or may be integrally molded.

As shown in FIG. 3A, for example, the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3 in FIG. 1 are connected by connecting threads 102 with appropriate intervals between the upper and lower two sets of woven fabrics 103 and 103. However, using a three-dimensional structural cloth 100 having a structure in which face materials 101 and 101 are provided on the outer surfaces of the two woven cloths 103 and 103, respectively, the front side in this figure has a structure as shown in FIG. The air chamber 2 is prepared.
That is, the three-dimensional structure cloth 100 is cut by providing a glue margin portion so as to have a planar shape (not shown) of the front side air chamber portion 2 (or the rear side air chamber portion 3), and the cut cloth is cut at this glue margin portion. The front side air chamber part 2 (or the rear side air chamber part 3 (not shown) shown in FIG. 3B is formed by joining the upper and lower surface members 101 and 101 parts.
In this example, the upper and lower surface materials 101 and 101 use a tarpaulin in which the dough 105 is provided between the watertight and airtight synthetic resin layers 104, as shown in FIG. 3 (A).

In order to attach the above air chamber portion (here, for convenience, the front air chamber portion) 2 to the rigid synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1, for example, first, from the air blowing port 2'into the air chamber portion 2. It is preferable to insert the end portion of the air chamber portion into the opening portion of the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 which is a plate-shaped cylinder in the expanded state by blowing air into the air chamber portion 2. By fitting the end portion 101'of the air chamber portion into the rigid synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1, the joint is securely joined. The length of the end portion 101'of the air chamber portion inserted into the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 is, for example, about 5 cm from the end face.
At this time, if the locking piece 14 as shown in FIG. 2C is provided in the vicinity of the opening for inserting the front air chamber portion 2, when the front air chamber portion 2 is inserted and fitted. Can be easily positioned.

The rear air chamber portion 3 is also manufactured, air-blown, and inserted into the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 in the same manner as the front air chamber portion 2 described above.
Of course, if the locking piece 14 is also provided in the vicinity of the opening for inserting the rear air chamber portion 3, positioning at the time of inserting and fitting the rear air chamber portion 3 becomes easy.

After that, a tape-like adhesive (that is, a strong adhesive is applied to one surface of the tape-like substrate) is applied to the joint portion between the air chamber portions 2 and 3 and the rigid synthetic resin tubular plate-like body 1 and the vicinity thereof. As shown in FIGS. 1 (A) and 1 (B), the coated product) 4 is wound around the front, back, and sides of the SUP board, and the synthetic resin plate-like body 1 and the air chamber portion 2 are wound. Make the bond with, 3 strong and secure.

As shown in FIG. 1, it is preferable that the air blowing ports 2'and 3'are provided on the front surface side of the SUP board, both the front air chamber portion 2 and the rear air chamber portion 3.
When the keel and fins are provided, as shown in FIG. 1 (B), the keel 5 is placed on the resin plate (the back surface of the lower plate body 12 in FIG. 2) on the back surface side of the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1. May be integrally molded at the time of molding the lower plate 12, and the fins 6 may be attached to the back surface of the rear air chamber portion 3.
An example of the mounting mode of the fin 6 is shown in FIG. 1 (C). That is, a hard synthetic resin plate 61 having a groove 62 engraved in a substantially central portion is attached to the back surface of the rear air chamber portion 3 on the surface opposite to the groove 62, and fins are formed in the groove 62. A convex portion (not shown) formed on the lower side of 6 is fitted.

FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining one aspect of transporting and storing the above-mentioned SUP board of the present invention. In this example, first, the front and rear air chambers 2 and The air inlets 2'and 3'of 3 are opened to remove the air in these air chambers 2 and 3, and then the rear air chamber 3 is folded and stacked on the hard synthetic resin plate-like body 1. , Fold the anterior air chamber 2 on top of this.
As described above, in the SUP board of the present invention, the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3 are bleeded and folded to be in a considerably compact state, which facilitates operation during transportation and storage and is narrow. Good transportation and storage is possible even in a place.

Further, in the SUP board of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1 (A), in order to prevent slipping on the surface while the rider is performing SUP, or when getting on / off the board. In this example, the foot pad 7 may be attached so as to extend over the hard synthetic resin plate-like body 1 and the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3.

As described above, the plate-shaped tubular body 1 has been described as an example of the central hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1, but the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 is not opened in front and behind (that is, in the tubular shape). It may be a hollow body or a medium substance. In the case of a hollow body or a medium body, the rigid synthetic resin plate-like body 1 and each of the air chambers 2 and 3 are joined by joining the end faces of the hard synthetic resin plate 1 and each of the air chambers 2 and 3 to each other. After joining with an adhesive or the like, it is completed by wrapping it with a tape-shaped adhesive so as to go around the joined portion.
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, a portion (extending portion 15) extending to the outer periphery of the edge portion of the front / rear end portion of the hollow body or the middle body is provided, and each air chamber portion is provided in the extending portion 15. If a few are inserted and fitted, the joint between the rigid synthetic resin plate-shaped body and each air chamber can be strengthened.

Further, in the SUP board of the present invention, not only the case where the air chamber portion is provided before and after the above, but also both sides of the central hard synthetic resin plate-like body 1 may be provided.
That is, as shown in FIG. 6, air chambers 8 and 9 are also provided on both sides of the rigid synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1. These air chambers 8 and 9 are made of a watertight and airtight three-dimensional structure cloth in the same manner as the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3, and air blow ports 8', 9 are provided on either the surface side. ′ Should be provided.
In this case, the bonding to the hard synthetic resin plate-shaped body 1 may be the same as in the case of the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3 described above, and the front and rear air chambers 2 and 3 and the air chambers on both sides The coupling with 8 and 9 may be performed by a conventional method of coupling air chambers made of watertight / airtight three-dimensional structure cloth.
Of course, even when the air chambers 8 and 9 are provided on both sides, after the bonding, the tape-shaped adhesive 4 is used as shown in FIG. 6, and the synthetic resin plate-like body 1 in the center and the front and rear air are provided. It is pasted over Murobe 2 and 3.
As shown in FIG. 6, by providing air chambers on both sides, it is possible to further reduce the weight and safety of the SUP board.
