Description

The present invention relates to a pet water dispenser that supplies water to pets such as dogs and cats, and more particularly to a circulating pet water dispenser that circulates water.

As a circulation type water supply device for pets, for example, there is a "circulation type automatic water supply device for pets" disclosed in Patent Document 1. The one disclosed in Patent Document 1 states that "a water storage chamber is provided on the front side in the water bowl, a pump chamber is provided on the rear side, an overflow portion is provided above the pump chamber, and the overflow portion is used as described above. A sloping water channel that slopes down toward the water storage room is provided over the water storage room, and a pump for pumping water in the room to the overflowing portion is installed in the pump room, and water in the pump room is pumped by the pump. A circulation flow path such that the water is pumped up by the overflow portion and supplied to the inclined water channel, and the water flows down the inclined water channel by its own weight and is introduced into the water storage chamber to be introduced into the pump chamber. The bottom surface of the pump chamber is set lower than the bottom surface of the water surface opening portion in the water storage chamber when the portion of the circulation flow path whose water surface is opened upward is used as the water surface opening portion. It is characterized by that. "

In Patent Document 1, dust and the like are filtered by a paper-like filter (see paragraph [0064] of Patent Document 1).

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2016-21887

In Patent Document 1, a paper-like filter for filtering circulating water is provided, but for example, the function of purifying residual chlorine in tap water is not mentioned, and even if tap water is purified by the filter. , Paper-like materials have poor purification efficiency.
In addition, the filter is always submerged, which is troublesome to replace.

Further, in Patent Document 1, the water overflowing from the overflow portion is allowed to flow into the water storage chamber through the inclined water channel, and the water is allowed to flow into the pump chamber from the flow path provided on the bottom surface of the water storage chamber.
Therefore, regarding the heights of the overflow section, the inclined channel, and the water storage chamber, the overflow section is at the highest position, the inclined channel is at the intermediate position, and the water storage chamber is at the lowest position. Therefore, there is also a problem that the water surface of the supply water cannot be set to the height most suitable for the pet.

The pet circulation type water dispenser 1 of the present embodiment includes a bottomed frame-shaped water storage tank 3 having an open upper surface, and a water pump 5 installed in the water storage tank 3 to pump water in the water storage tank 3. , The water pan 7 which is installed so as to cover the upper surface of the water storage tank 3 and temporarily stores the water pumped by the pump 5 as supply water to the pet, and the water overflowing from the water pan 7 passes through. A water purification cartridge 9 containing a water purifying agent for purifying water, and a cartridge support portion 11 that floats the water purification cartridge 9 above the bottom surface of the water storage tank 3 in the water storage tank 3 to support the water purification cartridge 9 so that it is not submerged. It has.
Hereinafter, each configuration will be described in detail.

<Water storage tank>
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the water storage tank 3 has a rectangular shape as a whole and has a bottomed frame shape with an open upper surface. Recessed portions 13 are formed in the lower portions on both sides of the water storage tank 3 in the longitudinal direction, and function as a handle when carrying.

Further, on the bottom surface of the water storage tank 3, a rising pipe 15 for electrical wiring that opens to the bottom surface side and rises from the bottom surface is provided. Electric wiring from the outside passes through the riser pipe 15 from the bottom and is routed into the water storage tank 3 to supply electricity to the pump 5 in the water storage tank 3. The height of the rising pipe 15 is set to be higher than the water surface of the water to be put into the water storage tank 3.

<Pump pump>
The pumping pump 5 is installed in the water storage tank 3 and pumps the water in the water storage tank 3 to the water pan 7 via the pumping pipe 17. A pumping pipe 17 is connected to the pumping pump 5.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the pump 5 is installed at the bottom of the water storage tank 3 with the discharge port facing upward. The lower end of the pumping pipe 17 is connected to the discharge port, and the upper end is connected to the tubular recess 27 of the water pan portion 7, which will be described later.

The pumping pipe 17 has a small diameter on the lower side, becomes large in diameter from the middle, and is connected to the tubular recess 27. In this way, by increasing the diameter of the upper side, it is possible to prevent the pumped water from being blown up from the water pan 7 like a fountain and to discharge the water in an overflowing state.

<水皿部>
<Water dish>
The water pan 7 is for temporarily storing the water pumped from the pumping pipe 17 as water to be supplied to the pet.
The water pan 7 has a rectangular shape as a whole in a plan view (see FIG. 3), and its peripheral edge is an engaging groove 19 with which the opening peripheral edge of the water storage tank 3 is engaged. Therefore, the water pan 7 is like a lid that closes the opening of the water storage tank 3, and can be easily removed from the water storage tank 3 for cleaning or the like.

The entire upper surface of the water pan 7 is recessed downward from the peripheral edge, and the recessed portion is divided into three portions having different functions.
In FIG. 4, the left side in the figure is a fluidized water forming unit 21 that discharges pumped water as overflowing water to form moving (flowing) fluidized water, and the right side of the fluidized water forming portion 21 collects fluidized water and stores water. The storage unit 23 is a storage unit 23, and the right side of the storage unit 23 is an overflow unit 25 that overflows the stored water. By arranging the fluidized water forming portion 21, the storage portion 23, and the overflow portion 25 in a row in this way, the width of the pet circulation type water dispenser 1 can be narrowed and the whole can be made compact.

A tubular recess 27 for discharging pumped water as overflowing water (spring water) is formed substantially in the center of the fluidized water forming portion 21, and the opening of the tubular recess 27 is a discharge port 28. As the top, there is a gently curved surface portion 29 whose circumference is curved like a part of a spherical surface. That is, by discharging the pumped water as overflowing water from the opening near the top of the curved surface portion 29, the flowing water is formed by the movement of the water due to the discharge and the movement of the water flowing through the curved surface portion 29.

A flat bottom portion is formed in the storage portion 23, and the bottom portion and the curved surface portion 29 of the flowing water forming portion 21 are connected by a gently inclined surface portion 31. The inclined surface portion 31 is a gently curved surface that is inclined toward the bottom of the storage portion 23 and has a convex center in the width direction (see FIG. 7).
The water discharged as overflowing water from the tubular recessed portion 27 flows from the curved surface portion 29 to the surroundings, and further flows through the inclined surface portion 31 and flows into the storage portion 23.
The wall on the right side of FIG. 4 of the storage portion 23 rises at a substantially right angle and is connected to the overflow portion 25.

The overflow portion 25 is provided on the rightmost side in FIG. 4, and has a shelf-shaped surface portion 33 formed of a flat shelf-shaped surface and an elongated hole-shaped drain port 35 formed on the shelf-shaped surface portion 33. There is.
Since the drainage port 35 is provided at the upper end of the peripheral wall of the storage unit 23, the stored water always collects in the storage unit 23. Therefore, even if the pump 5 is stopped due to a power failure, the water in the storage unit 23 will not be exhausted immediately.
The peripheral edge of the drain port 35 is formed with a guide edge portion 37 extending downward to guide the drainage to the lower water purification cartridge 9 (see FIGS. 4 and 6).

The position of the drain port 35 is the upper end portion of the storage portion 23, and is substantially the same height as the lower portion of the curved surface portion 29 of the fluidized water forming portion 21. Therefore, the water discharged as overflowing water from the opening of the tubular recessed portion 27 flows through the curved surface portion 29, enters the storage portion 23, is stored in the storage portion 23, and the overflow water is drained from the drain port 35. As shown in FIG. 4, the water surface of the dish portion 7 has substantially the same position as the water surface of the flowing water flowing through the curved surface portion 29 and the stored water of the storage portion 23. Therefore, both the liquid water and the stored water can be set at a height position that is easy for pets to drink.
The height of the drain port 35 is lower than the discharge port 28 of the fluidized water forming portion 21, and is preferably set to the same position as or higher than the lowermost portion of the curved surface portion 29.

<Water purification cartridge>
The water purification cartridge 9 is arranged below the drain port 35 and allows water flowing down from the drain port 35 to pass through to purify the water.
The water purification cartridge 9 contains a purifying agent such as activated carbon and an ion exchange resin in a resin box. Since the water purification cartridge 9 is box-shaped and has a vertical distance, the distance between the purifying agent and the overflow water can be increased, and the purification efficiency is good.

Since the water surface of the water storage tank 3 is set to be lower than the lower surface of the water purification cartridge 9 (see FIG. 4), the overflow water can flow through the inside of the water purification cartridge 9.
The purifying agent is preferably replaced within a predetermined period (about 1 month).

<Cartridge support>
The cartridge support portion 11 floats the water purification cartridge 9 in the water storage tank 3 above the water surface of the water storage tank 3 to support the water purification cartridge 9 so that it will not be submerged.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the cartridge support portion 11 is formed by two plate-shaped bodies 11a erected at the bottom of the water storage tank 3 at predetermined intervals. Since the water purification cartridge 9 has a structure of being placed on the plate-shaped body 11a, it is extremely easy to remove at the time of replacement.

The operation of the pet circulation type water dispenser 1 of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described.
Fill the water storage tank 3 with a predetermined amount of water, that is, enough water so that the water purification cartridge 9 is not submerged as shown in FIG.
When the pump 5 is started, the water in the water storage tank 3 is sucked by the pump 5, is pumped through the pumping pipe 17, and is discharged as overflowing water from the opening of the tubular recess 27 of the water pan 7. The overflow water flows through the curved surface portion 29, is supplied to the storage portion 23, and is stored until the water surface of the storage portion 23 reaches the height of the drain port 35. When the water surface height of the storage unit 23 reaches the position of the drain port 35, the water is drained from the drain port 35 as overflow water. The overflow water passes through the drain port 35, is guided to the guide edge portion 37, and is guided to the inlet of the water purification cartridge 9.
By passing through the water purification cartridge 9, it is purified, mixed with the water in the water storage tank 3, and pumped again.

According to the pet circulation type water dispenser 1 of the present embodiment as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
(i) Since the height of the drain port 35 of the overflow portion 25 is lower than the top of the curved surface portion 29 and is set at the same position as or higher than the bottom of the curved surface portion 29, water circulates. Occasionally, the water surface of the storage unit 23 is at the height of the drain port 35, and the difference in height between the water surface of the storage unit 23 and the water surface of the fluidized water forming unit 21 is only the height of the curved surface portion 29. Therefore, by setting the height of the curved surface portion 29 to be low, the positions of the water surfaces of the fluidized water and the stored water can be made substantially the same, and the height can be set to be suitable for pets.

(ii) Further, since the water discharged from the storage unit 23 is made to overflow and discharged, even if the pump 5 is stopped due to a power failure or the like, a predetermined amount of water is always accumulated in the storage unit 23. Therefore, there is no concern that the water supplied to the pet will be exhausted at the same time when the pump 5 is stopped.
(iii) Further, since the overflow water is allowed to pass through the purifying agent in the water purification cartridge 9, the purification efficiency is excellent as compared with, for example, a paper-type purification filter. Further, since the water purification cartridge 9 is not submerged in water and is only placed on it, it is extremely easy to replace it.
(iv) Further, since the water pan portion 7 has a lid-like shape that covers the opening of the water storage tank 3 and is integrally formed, it is easy to remove and clean.
(v) In addition, there are some food slags that sink in the water of the storage unit 23 and some that float on the water surface, but those that sink in the water should be visually checked and removed, and those that float on the water surface overflow. Although it moves to the portion 25, the water purification cartridge 9 can be prevented from being contaminated with food slag or the like by providing a net, a mesh-like dust collecting sheet or the like at the drain port 35.
(vi) Further, since the recessed portions 13 are provided on both side surfaces of the water storage tank 3, it is easy to carry (see FIG. 8).
