が成り立つことを特徴としている。
本発明の実施例について、図1(B)及び図3を参照して説明する。図3は、図1(B)の断面線III−IIIにおける部分断面図であって、矢印の方向に見たクラッチ装置1の係合機構を示す。メカクラッチ20の係合部は、係合凸部20aであってピン形状をしており、係合凸部20aにはR面取りが施されている。また、ワンウェイクラッチ10の内輪11の端面に設けられた被係合部は、係合凹部11aであって截頭錐体の形状をしている。そして、ピストン5が作動してメカクラッチ20が右方向に動くと、ピン形状の係合凸部20aが截頭錐体の形状の係合凹部11aに嵌合する。しかしながら、R面取りが施されたピン形状の係合凸部20aの頂部は、係合凹部11aの底部には当接しない。

そして、キャリア2の回転力Ftとピン形状の係合凸部20aの機械的性質とを勘案して、ピストン5の推力Fa、係合凸部20aの数N、係合凹部11aの截頭錐体の形状(軸方向の角度θ)及びリターンスプリング3の反発力を適宜選定する。
本発明の実施例では、ワンウェイクラッチ10の被係合部は係合凹部11aの形状をしているが、変形例としては被係合部を凸部とし、メカクラッチ20の係合部を凹部としても良い。また、ピストン5の駆動は、油圧力による駆動でも良いし、電磁力による駆動等でも良い。
本発明の実施形態におけるクラッチ装置1では、ラチェット型ワンウェイクラッチを用いているが、例えばスプラグ型又はローラ型のワンウェイクラッチ等を適用することができる。

Claims (5)
- 軸方向に並設されるワンウェイクラッチ及びメカクラッチから成るクラッチ装置において、前記メカクラッチは前記軸方向に移動可能に保持されており、前記メカクラッチが押圧手段により前記軸方向に移動すると、前記ワンウェイクラッチの内輪の端面に前記メカクラッチが係合し、
前記メカクラッチには、係合部が環状に配置されており、前記ワンウェイクラッチの前記内輪には、前記係合部に係合する被係合部が環状に配置されており、
前記係合部又は前記被係合部は、それぞれ係合凸部又は係合凹部を含み、
前記係合凹部は前記係合凸部に係合し、
前記係合凹部は、截頭錐体の形状をしており、
前記截頭錐体の前記軸方向の角度をθ、前記押圧手段の推力をFa、回転力をFtとして、前記推力、前記係合部の数、前記角度を適宜選定したとき、以下の関係
Fc=Fa/sinθ
Fb=Fc×cosθ
Fc>Ft
が成り立つことを特徴とする、クラッチ装置。 - 前記ワンウェイクラッチに前記メカクラッチが係合すると前記ワンウェイクラッチの空転が制動されることを特徴とする、請求項1の記載のクラッチ装置。
- 前記ワンウェイクラッチはラチェット型のワンウェイクラッチ又はスプラグ型のワンウェイクラッチ又はローラ型のワンウェイクラッチのいずれかであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のクラッチ装置。
- 前記押圧手段はピストンであり、油圧又は電気によるアクチュエータにより駆動されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のクラッチ装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のクラッチ装置を搭載した車両の自動変速機。
