Description
1.関連出願
本出願は、2016年9月7日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/384,678号に基づく優先権を主張するものであり、その内容は、その全体が本明細書に完全に記載されているように、この参照により組み込まれている。
本発明は、一般に血餅の回収に有用な装置及び方法、及び、特に虚血性脳卒中の治療のための除去装置に関する。
これまではFDAに承認された急性虚血性脳卒中の治療の選択肢には、血餅溶解薬の静脈(IV)への送達及び機械的な血栓摘出術が含まれる。

Claims (8)
- 血餅除去装置であって、
少なくとも第1区画(100)と第2区画(200)とを含む複数の区画を備え、各区画は、複数の2次ストラット(106及び206)に接続された支持フレームとして機能する2つの主ストラット(102及び104又は202及び204)を有し、
前記複数の2次ストラット(106及び206)は各区画のセル(108及び208)の格子を形成し、
前記第1区画(100)の前記2つの主ストラット(102及び104)は、前記第1区画(100)の近位点(110)で互いに接続された近位端と、前記近位点(110)から遠位にある別個の接続点(112及び114)で終端する遠位端とを有し、前記接続点(112及び114)は互いに接続されて、第1区画(100)の内側内腔を画成する概ね管状の構造を形成しており、
前記第2区画(200)の前記2つの主ストラット(202及び204)は近位端を有し、前記第2区画(200)の前記2つの主ストラット(202及び204)の前記近位端は前記第1区画(100)の前記2つの主ストラット(102及び104)の前記遠位端の別個の接続点(112及び114)に接続され、前記第2区画(200)の前記2つの主ストラット(202及び204)は遠位端を有し、前記第2区画(200)の前記2つの主ストラット(202及び204)の前記遠位端はお互いに接続されて、前記第2区画(200)は概ね管状の構造を形成しており、
前記血餅除去装置は前記血管内の前記血餅又は前記塞栓の位置又はその近傍に送達され、前記複数の区画は前記血餅又は前記塞栓の位置又はその近傍で拡張されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1の装置において、前記第1区画(100)は、概ね直線状の2つの遠位ストラット(118)を有し、前記遠位ストラット(118)の一端は前記区画(100)の遠位で前記セル(108)の格子に接続され、他端は互いに接続されて遠位点(120)を形成し、前記第1区画(100)が管状の構造を形成しているとき、前記遠位ストラット(118)に隣接する前記セル(108)により第1区画(100)の遠位開口(126)が画成され、前記第1区画(100)の前記遠位開口(126)は前記内腔と連通し前記近位点(110)で終端することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1の装置において、各2次ストラット(106及び206)は、S字形を形成するように反対方向に僅かに湾曲した両端部を有する直線区画を有し、前記2次ストラット(106及び206)は接続点で接合されて前記セル(108及び208)を形成することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項3の装置において、前記セル(108及び208)は、涙滴状の形状を有することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1の装置において、前記複数の区画は、複数の2次ストラット(306)に接続された支持フレームとして機能する2つの主ストラット(302及び304)を有する、第3区画(300)をさらに含み、
前記複数の2次ストラット(306)は前記第3区画(300)のセル(308)の格子を形成し、
前記第3区画(300)の前記2つの主ストラット(302及び304)は近位端を有し、前記第3区画(300)の前記2つの主ストラット(302及び304)の前記近位端は前記第3区画(300)の近位点(310)で互いに接続され、さらに前記第2区画(200)の前記2つの主ストラット(202及び204)の前記遠位端に接続され、前記第3区画(300)の前記2つの主ストラット(302及び304)はまた遠位端を有し、前記第3区画(300)の前記2つの主ストラット(302及び304)の前記遠位端は前記第3区画(300)の前記近位点(310)から遠位にある別個の第3区画の接続点(312及び314)で終端し、前記第3区画(300)の接続点(312及び314)は互いに接続され、前記第3区画(300)の内側内腔を画成する概ね管状の構造を形成していることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5の装置において、前記第1区画(100)は、概ね直線状の2つの遠位ストラット(118)を有し、前記遠位ストラット(118)の一端は前記区画(100)の遠位で前記セル(108)の格子に接続され、他端は互いに接続されて遠位点(120)を形成し、前記第1区画(100)が管状の構造を形成しているとき、前記遠位ストラット(118)に隣接する前記セル(108)により第1区画(100)の遠位開口(126)が画成され、前記第1区画(100)の前記遠位開口(126)は前記内腔と連通し前記近位点(110)で終端することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5の装置において、各2次ストラット(106、206、及び306)は、S字形を形成するように反対方向に僅かに湾曲した両端部を有する直線区画を有し、前記2次ストラットは接続点で接合されて前記セルを形成することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5の装置において、前記セル(108、208、308)は、涙滴状の形状を有することを特徴とする装置。
