Description
(1)超高作動角を取った際に、大径側に2つの小さな山部を設け、この2つの小さな山部が半径方向に重なることで、圧縮側における蛇腹部がバンドの耳部に干渉することを防止し耐久性を向上させる。
(2)また、引張側においては、上記の2つの小さな山部の伸びによりブーツの膜長を補足することで、谷部の引張応力を緩和し谷部の疲労を軽減させる。
(3)さらに、小径側取付部に最も近い山部、谷部の縦断面における曲率半径を大きくし剛性を低減することで、小径側取付部周辺における引張と圧縮の繰り返し応力を軽減させる。

Claims (4)
- 等速自在継手の外側継手部材の外周面に装着され、ブーツバンドにより締付け固定される大径側取付部と、シャフトの外周面に装着され、ブーツバンドにより締付け固定される小径側取付部と、前記大径側取付部と小径側取付部を一体に連結する蛇腹部とからなる等速自在継手用ブーツにおいて、
前記大径側取付部の前記蛇腹部側端部に筒状肩部を形成し、この筒状肩部から2つの補助山部とこれらの補助山部間の1つの補助谷部を介して前記蛇腹部に接続し、
前記補助山部の肉厚中心と補助谷部の肉厚中心間の半径方向距離(H1)を、前記小径側取付部に最も近い前記蛇腹部の山部および谷部を除く、前記蛇腹部の山部の肉厚中心と谷部の肉厚中心間の半径方向距離(H2)より短くすると共に、
前記半径方向距離(H1)の中心(Ho)を通る直径(D1)を、前記筒状肩部の直径(D3)より大きくし、
前記等速自在継手が高作動角を取ったとき、前記補助山部が前記外側継手部材の外周面上で半径方向に重なる変形形態を有することにより50°以上の超高作動角に対応できることを特徴とする等速自在継手用ブーツ。 - 前記蛇腹部の前記小径側取付部に最も近い山部および谷部の縦断面における曲率半径が、それ以外の山部および谷部の縦断面における曲率半径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 前記筒状肩部が、前記大径側取付部の前記蛇腹部側端部から半径方向内側に突出する円弧形状部とこの円弧形状部に続くストレート形状部とからなることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 前記等速自在継手用ブーツが熱可塑性ポリエステル系エラストマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
