Claims (3)
- 互いに貼り合わされた一対の基板間の隙間に液晶を有する液晶表示素子の製造方法において、
前記隙間に前記液晶を注入する工程と、
前記隙間に注入された前記液晶を第一温度に加熱する工程と、
前記隙間に注入された前記液晶が前記第一温度に加熱された状態のまま前記一対の基板のうち少なくとも一方の基板の外面に圧力差による吸引力を印加して前記隙間を変形させる工程と、
前記少なくとも一方の基板の外面に前記吸引力が印加された状態のまま前記隙間に注入された前記液晶を前記第一温度から第二温度に冷却することにより前記液晶を収縮させて当該収縮の力で前記隙間を均一化させる工程と、
を有することを特徴とする液晶表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記隙間を変形させる工程及び前記隙間を均一化させる工程において、前記吸引力は、前記一対の基板のうち一方の基板のみに印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記吸引力は、前記加熱時と前記冷却時で互いに同じであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の液晶表示素子の製造方法。
