Claims (6)
- モル%で、Tb2O3 25〜60%、Dy2O3 15〜50%、B 2 O 3 25〜60%、Ga 2 O 3 0〜5%(ただし5%は含まない)を含有することを特徴とするガラス材。
- さらに、モル%で、SiO2 0〜9%、P 2O5 0〜35%、Al2O3 0〜30%を含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス材。
- ガラス転移点と結晶化温度の差が50℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガラス材。
- 磁気光学素子として用いられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のガラス材。
- ファラデー回転素子として用いられることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガラス材。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガラス材を製造するための方法であって、ガラス原料塊を浮遊させて保持した状態で、前記ガラス原料塊を加熱融解させて溶融ガラスを得た後に、前記溶融ガラスを冷却する工程を備えることを特徴とする、ガラス材の製造方法。
