Description
Claims (7)
- 石油系組成物を改良するためのプロセスであって、
混合デバイス内で、超臨界水ストリームを加圧、加熱された石油系組成物と組み合わせ、組み合わされた供給物ストリームを形成するステップと、
水の臨界温度より高い温度及び水の臨界圧力より高い圧力で動作している少なくとも1つの超臨界改良反応器を備える改良反応器システムに、前記組み合わされた供給物ストリームを導入するステップであって、
前記超臨界改良反応器は、第1の触媒層及び第2の触媒層を備え、前記第2の触媒層は、前記超臨界改良反応器内の前記第1の触媒層の垂直下方に配置され、
前記第1の触媒層は、第1の空隙体積比を有する不均一多孔質金属含有触媒であり、前記第2の触媒層は、第2の空隙体積比を有する不均一多孔質金属含有触媒であり、
前記第2の空隙体積比は、前記第1の空隙体積比より小さい、導入するステップと、
前記組み合わされた供給物ストリームを、前記第1の触媒層及び前記第2の触媒層に通過させるステップであって、前記組み合わされた供給物ストリーム中の軽質炭化水素は、少なくとも部分的に前記第1の触媒層及び前記第2の触媒層を通って流動し、一方前記組み合わされた供給物ストリーム中の重質炭化水素は、少なくとも部分的に、前記第1の触媒層の空隙内、前記第2の触媒層の空隙内、またはその両方で篩い分けされる、通過させるステップと;
前記篩い分けされた重質炭化水素を、前記超臨界水の存在下で前記第1の触媒層または前記第2の触媒層内で少なくとも部分的に軽質炭化水素に変換するステップと;
軽質炭化水素及び前記変換された軽質炭化水素を含む改良された生成物を、前記超臨界改良反応器の外に通過させるステップと
を含むプロセス。 - 前記第1の触媒層、前記第2の触媒層、またはその両方を、少なくとも400℃の温度で加熱することにより活性化させるステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記組み合わされた供給物ストリームの導入の前に、前記第1の触媒層、前記第2の触媒層、またはその両方を、前記改良反応器システムの前記温度及び圧力で超臨界水で調整するステップをさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記第1の触媒層及び前記第2の触媒層は、ある距離だけ離間しており、
前記第1の触媒層、前記第2の触媒層、またはその両方は、金属ハニカム、焼結金属ディスク、または金属織布からなる群から選択される1つ以上の構造を備え、
前記第2の空隙体積比に対する前記第1の空隙体積比の比が、1から10である、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 前記超臨界改良反応器の上流側及び下流側に、1つ以上の圧力センサをさらに備え、
前記圧力センサは、前記超臨界改良反応器の圧力が動作圧力の1%〜10%逸脱した時にパージ流体を送達するように、前記パージ流体入口の1つをトリガする、
請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 不均一多孔質金属含有触媒が、遷移金属及び貴金属からなる群から選択される1つ以上の成分を含み、
前記遷移金属が、Ti、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、Zr、Mo、W、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される金属を含む、1種以上の金属含有成分を構成し、
前記貴金属が、Au、Ag、Pt、Ro、Rh、Os、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される金属を含む、1種以上の金属含有成分を構成する、
請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 前記不均一多孔質金属含有触媒は、Mo、Cr、Fe、及びWとの55−60wt%のニッケル合金を含む、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
