Claims (17)
- 眼の前房から流体を排出するためのシャントであって、流入端部、流出端部、及び、管腔を画定する壁を有する主区画と、存在する場合に前記管腔を通る流れを遮断するために前記流出端部に結合されている取り外し可能部分とを備え、前記取り外し可能部分は、前記流出端部にわたって破断可能なシールを提供し、前記シャントに対して圧縮力が加わるのを受けて潰れるように構成されており、前記取り外し可能部分が潰れて除去又は取り出されることにより、流体が、前記前房から前記管腔を通じて、前記流出端部に向けて前記流入端部へと流れることを可能にし、結果、前記眼の中に位置決めされると、流体が、前記前房よりも圧力が低いロケーションにおいて前記流出端部を通じて放出される、シャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、前記流出端部に結合されているディスク形状の膜を含む、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 前記主区画の前記壁は、第1の厚さを含み、前記膜は、第2の厚さを含み、前記第1の厚さは前記第2の厚さよりも大きい、請求項2に記載のシャント。
- 前記主区画の前記壁は、第1の厚さを含み、前記膜は、第2の厚さを含み、前記第1の厚さは前記第2の厚さに等しい、請求項2に記載のシャント。
- 前記主区画の前記壁は、第1の厚さを含み、前記膜は、第2の厚さを含み、前記第1の厚さは前記第2の厚さよりも3倍の厚さがある、請求項2に記載のシャント。
- 前記膜は前記管腔内に位置決めされる、請求項2に記載のシャント。
- 前記膜は栓を含む、請求項2に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、球根形状を有し、前記流出端部に隣接する前記シャントの外面に重なる、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、前記シャントの外径よりも大きい外側断面プロファイルを備える、請求項8に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、第1の材料を含み、前記主区画は、前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料を含む、請求項1に記載のシャント。

- 前記取り外し可能部分は、約30μmから約80μmまでの間の軸方向厚さを備える、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、約45μmの軸方向厚さを備える、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、シャントの全長の約0.1%から約40%までの軸方向厚さを備える、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 前記取り外し可能部分は、約8μmから約3200μmまでの軸方向厚さを備える、請求項1に記載のシャント。
- 請求項1に記載のシャントを製造する方法であって、
液体又は粘性材料の層に前記シャントの流出端部を浸漬させることであり、前記材料が前記流出端部に結合されることを可能にする、浸漬させることと、
取り外し可能部分を形成するために前記材料を乾燥させることと
を含む、方法。 - 請求項1に記載のシャントを製造する方法であって、
取り外し可能部分を形成し、前記取り外し可能部分を流出端部に結合するために、前記シャントの前記流出端部に材料を挿入することを含む、方法。
