Description
まず、図1、図2および図3を参照して本実施の形態にかかる圧電スピーカ100の概略構成について説明する。図1は、圧電スピーカ100の構成を模式的に示す斜視図である。図2は、図1のII−II線に沿う断面図である。図3は、圧電スピーカ100の内部構成を模式的に示す分解斜視図である。なお、以下の説明では、説明の明確化のため、図1、図2および図3に示す、X軸、Y軸、Z軸を有する3次元直交座標を用いて説明を行う。
図4および図5は、圧電素子1a,1bに電気信号を与えて伸縮させたときの振動板3a,3bの動きの例について説明する模式図である。ここで、圧電素子1aおよび振動板3aのサイズは16mm×6mm×1.1mm、圧電素子1bおよび振動板3bのサイズは12mm×6mm×1.1mmとする。
図6は、音圧周波数特性の測定結果を示すグラフである。図6において、Aが実施例での音圧周波数特性を示し、Bが比較例での音圧周波数特性を示している。ここで、実施例にかかる圧電スピーカは、図1から図3を用いて構造を説明した圧電スピーカ100である。比較例にかかる圧電スピーカは、圧電スピーカ100からカバー13を取り外したものである。

Claims (6)
- 主面が矩形状である複数の振動板と、
箱状で、前記振動板の主面の一方の面を覆い、前記振動板の主面の一方の面との間に空気室が形成されるように配置されたカバーと、
複数の圧電素子と、を備え、
前記カバーは、前記振動板の主面と垂直な面のいずれかに開口部が形成されており、
前記複数の振動板は、前記複数の圧電素子の伸縮によってそれぞれ振動させられ、
前記複数の振動板は、主面の長辺の長さがそれぞれ異なる、スピーカ。 - 前記複数の振動板は、主面が同一の平面にある、請求項1に記載のスピーカ。
- 前記複数の振動板は、主面の長辺が一列に並んで配置されている、請求項1又は2に記載のスピーカ。
- 前記カバーにおいて、前記開口部は、前記振動板における主面の短辺に垂直な面に形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のスピーカ。
- 前記複数の振動板が一列に並ぶ方向における前記開口部の幅は、前記複数の振動板における長辺の長さの総和以上である、請求項3または4に記載のスピーカ。
- 筐体の一面に画像表示部が設けられ、
請求項4または5に記載のスピーカが、前記開口部の長手方向が前記筐体における外縁に沿うように、かつ、前記開口部が前記筐体における前記画像表示部が設けられた面側に位置するように配置されている、画像表示装置。
