Claims (5)
- エアスタータシステム(2)により内燃機関(1)を始動する方法であって、
第1の始動シーケンスにおいて、スタータ(3)を係入するための圧縮空気経路が係入バルブ(5)を介して設定され、圧縮空気によりスタータ(3)が係入せしめられ、デコンプバルブがシリンダ燃焼室を開放するように開方向に操作され、スタータ(3)の係入後、第1の始動シーケンスにおけるスタータ(3)のクランキングの回転のための圧縮空気経路が始動バルブ(6)を介して設定され、第1の始動シーケンスの間、始動バルブ(6)は、目標エンジン回転数(nSL)に応じてPWM信号により制御され、始動バルブ(6)により制御されたパルスの圧縮空気がスタータ(3)に供給され、パルスの圧縮空気によりスタータが連続的に緩やかにクランキングされることで内燃機関(1)のクランキングを初導し、
第2の始動シーケンスにおいて、デコンプバルブが閉方向に操作され、第2の始動シーケンスにおけるスタータ(3)の回転のための圧縮空気経路が始動バルブ(6)を介して設定され、一定不変の圧縮空気がスタータ(3)に供給される方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、目標エンジン回転数(nSL)が、第1の目標回転数値(nSL1)から第2の目標回転数値(nSL2)へと傾きをもった直線状に高められることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、目標回転数(nSL)から実際回転数(nIST)までの回転数制御偏差(dn)が算出され、第1の始動シーケンスは、第2の目標回転数値(nSL2)から実際回転数(nIST)までの回転数制御偏差(dn)が許容域(TB)以内であることが確かめられたら正しく終了することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項3に記載の方法において、さらに回転数制御偏差(dn)が或る期間(dt)の間に許容域(TB)以内にあるかどうか回転数制御偏差(dn)が検査されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法において、第2の始動シーケンスの間、実際回転数(nIST)がアイドリング回転数(LL)と比較され、アイドリング回転数を上回ったら(nIST>LL)、第2の始動シーケンスは正しく終了し、内燃機関の運転に転換されることを特徴とする方法。
