Description
Claims (8)
- 核分裂性物質を有する燃料棒が燃料集合体(10)のグリッド(20)のばね(44)とディンプル(46)の間に挟持されたときに、当該ばねと当該ディンプルの間に挟持されることにより当該燃料棒にかかるであろう圧縮荷重の大きさを表示するように作動する測定装置(52)であって、
ハウジング(62)を有し、当該ハウジングの一部が当該ばねおよび当該ディンプルのうちの一方と物理的に接触するように構成された支持体(54)と、
当該支持体上に移動自在に設置された従動体(70)であって、当該ハウジングの当該一部の反対側にある当該従動体の一部が当該ハウジングの当該一部から概して離れる方向に付勢され、当該従動体の弧状表面が当該ばねおよび当該ディンプルのうちの他方と機械的に係合可能なように構成され、当該従動体の当該一部を付勢する付勢力に抗して、当該従動体の当該一部が当該ばねおよび当該ディンプルのうちの当該他方と物理的に接触しない第1の位置と、当該ばねおよび当該ディンプルのうちの当該他方と物理的に接触する第2の位置の間で移動できるように構成された従動体(70)と、
当該ばねと当該ディンプルの間での圧縮荷重の大きさを表示する表示部(66)であって、当該表示が少なくとも部分的に、当該ハウジングの当該一部と当該第2の位置における当該従動体の当該一部の間の距離に基づくように構成された表示部(66)と
から成る測定装置(52)。
- 前記表示部はセンサ(88)およびプロセッサ(86)から成り、当該センサは圧縮荷重の大きさを表す信号を出力するように構成され、当該信号は少なくとも部分的に当該センサに対する前記従動体の位置に基づき、当該プロセッサは当該信号を受信し、少なくとも部分的に当該信号に基づく表示を出力するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の測定装置。
- 前記従動体は前記支持体上に定置ハブ(72)を中心として枢動自在に設置され、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間で枢動可能であることを特徴とする、請求項2の測定装置。
- 前記表示部は、直線状の軸(78)に沿って別の第1の位置と別の第2の位置の間で並進可能な別の従動体(74)を有し、当該別の従動体は前記従動体と係合し、前記従動体が前記第2の位置の方へ移動すると前記従動体とともに移動し、前記従動体が前記第2の位置にあるときは当該別の第2の位置にあることを特徴とする、請求項3の測定装置。
- 前記センサは前記信号として、前記別の従動体の前記センサへの近さに少なくとも部分的に基づく信号を出力するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項4の測定装置。
- 前記ハウジングの前記一部および前記従動体の前記一部は、前記従動体が前記第2の位置にあるときは前記ばねと前記ディンプルの間に挟持されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の測定装置。
- 前記グリッドが前記ばねおよび前記ディンプルを備えたセル(42)を含み、当該セルはさらに別のばね(48)および別のディンプル(50)を具備し、前記ハウジングの前記一部と前記ディンプルの前記一部とが前記ばねと前記ディンプルの間で係合しているときは、前記ハウジングの前記一部と前記従動体の前記一部とは当該別のばねおよび当該別のディンプルのうちの少なくとも一方とは係合していないことを特徴とする、請求項1の測定装置。
- 前記支持体が前記ハウジングおよび前記従動体を下方に支持する細長い脚部(54)をさらに含み、前記支持体は当該脚部から突き出た標識部(58)をさらに含み、当該標識部は前記従動体と整列できるように当該脚部に移動自在に設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の測定装置。
