Description

The present invention relates to a laundry finish and a washing method.

When washing using various washing machines, each step is generally performed in the order of a washing step, a rinsing step, and a finishing step (Patent Document 1). In the finishing step, a laundry finishing agent containing a cationic surfactant as a main component is used for the purpose of giving flexibility to the object to be washed such as linen and clothes (Patent Document 2).

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2017-89068

For example, in the washing step, alkaline washing water is used for the object to be washed, so that it is necessary to lower the pH of the object to be washed in the rinsing step and the finishing step performed after the washing step.

In particular, when a commercial washing machine such as a continuous washing machine is used, the washing process is often shifted to the rinsing process and the finishing process without undergoing dehydration. That is, the object to be washed is carried to the next step in a state of containing a large amount of washing water used in the washing step. Further, in a commercial washing machine, washing water having a high pH that is not used in ordinary households is used. Therefore, from the viewpoint of sufficiently lowering the pH of the object to be washed, it is preferable that the pH of the laundry finish is sufficiently lower than that used at home.

However, if the pH of a general laundry finish containing a cationic surfactant is lowered, there is a problem that the viscosity of the laundry finish becomes high and the workability deteriorates. Further, in a commercial washing machine, the washing finish agent is often supplied into the tub by a pump, so that there is a problem that the load on the pump increases when the viscosity of the washing finish agent is high.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a laundry finish having a low pH while suppressing an increase in viscosity, and a washing method using the laundry finish. be.

The washing finish agent according to the embodiment of the present invention is preferably used in a commercial washing machine in which the washing process is performed with washing water having a high pH, and more preferably used in a continuous washing machine.

In the continuous washing machine, the washing step, the rinsing step, and the finishing step are performed in this order, and then the object to be washed is dehydrated by the dehydrator. The washing step includes, for example, a pre-washing step and a main washing step.

The continuous washing machine includes, for example, a plurality of tubs arranged in a row (here, the first tub to the thirteenth tub), and each step is performed using these the plurality of tubs in order. Specifically, for example, the first tank and the second tank are used in the prewashing step, the third to ninth tanks are used in the main washing step, and the tenth to twelfth tanks are used in the rinsing step. The thirteenth tank is used in the finishing process. The object to be washed put into the continuous washing machine is sent from the first tub to the adjacent tubs in order, and reaches the thirteenth tub through each step.

Detergent and bleach are added to any of the tanks where the main washing process is performed. The object to be washed is washed with a liquid in which the detergent and bleach are diluted with water, that is, wash water. The pH of the washing water is 10 to 11. The pH is higher than that of washing water used in ordinary household washing machines. It should be noted that the bleaching agent may not be added.

Fresh water, or water, is supplied to any of the tanks where the rinsing process takes place. In addition, the washing water moves from the adjacent tank together with the object to be washed to the tank where the rinsing process is performed. The rinsing step reduces the pH of the liquid contained in the object to be washed to 9-7. That is, the object to be washed having a pH of 9 to 7 moves to the thirteenth tank where the finishing process is performed.

The washing finishing agent according to the embodiment of the present invention is put into the thirteenth tank in which the finishing step is performed. The laundry finish according to the embodiment of the present invention has, for example, a pH of 1-3. Thereby, the pH of the liquid in the thirteenth tank can be easily adjusted to 6 to 7, which is close to the pH of human skin.

Here, the pH of the object to be washed moving to the thirteenth tank is 9 to 7, but it may be higher.

(Defoaming power) The defoaming power is an index showing the degree of suppressing the foaming of a foaming liquid. The defoaming power is measured by the following procedure. That is, 0.1 g of the nonionic surfactant Neugen LP-180 (manufactured by Dai-ichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd.) is dissolved in 100 ml of water at 40 ° C. and gently poured into a 500 ml graduated cylinder without foaming. Next, 0.05 g of the laundry finishing agent is put into the measuring cylinder. Next, an air pump and a diffuser stone are used to blow air into the liquid in the graduated cylinder for 30 seconds to attempt to foam the liquid. Next, turn off the air pump and measure the amount of foam immediately after. Specifically, the amount of foam is measured based on the scale near the upper end of the foam and the scale near the lower end of the foam in the measuring cylinder. As the laundry finish, from the viewpoint of handleability of the object to be washed, the higher the defoaming power, that is, the smaller the amount of foam, the more preferable. The evaluation criteria are shown below.
A: The amount of foam is 100 ml or less
B: The amount of foam exceeds 100 ml and 300 ml or less
C: The amount of foam exceeds 300 ml

As is clear from Table 1, it can be seen that the laundry finishes of Examples 1 to 8 have lower viscosities than Comparative Examples 2 and 3 even though the pH is low. Further, it can be seen that the laundry finishes of Examples 1 to 8 have a lower pH and a higher defoaming power than those of Comparative Example 1.
