Description
Claims (13)
- 骨拡張装置であって、
近位端と、遠位端と、それらの間に延在する内側挿管部とを有する細長い管状部材であって、前記管状部材の前記遠位端が骨の円形トンネルを形成するよう適合される、細長い管状部材と、
近位端と遠位端とを有する可撓性部材であって、拡張要素が前記可撓性部材の前記遠位端に配置され、前記可撓性部材が、前記拡張要素が前記管状部材の前記遠位端から延在するように、前記管状部材の前記挿管部に摺動可能に受容されるようサイズ決めされる、可撓性部材と、を備え、
前記前記拡張要素は、遠位の略長方形の断面の長方形セクションを含み、
前記拡張要素によって画定される形状およびサイズに骨トンネルの遠位端を拡張させるために、前記管状部材の前記近位端に引張力を印加することによって、前記拡張要素が前記骨トンネルの前記遠位端に引かれるよう適合される、骨拡張装置。 - 前記引張力がスラップハンマーアセンブリによって生成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記スラップハンマーアセンブリは、往復動作するよう構成された部材を備える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記管状部材の表面が、挿入深さを表示するためのレーザーマーキングを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記管状部材の外径が約5mmである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記可撓性部材の前記近位端が、引張装置に取り付けるためのフックを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張要素が、近位円錐状セクションと、管状中間セクションとをさらに備え、前記長方形セクションの断面が前記管状中間セクションの断面よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張要素が、前記拡張要素の一部分に沿って軸方向に離間した、複数の隆起を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記可撓性部材の長さが、前記管状部材の長さよりも大きいように選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記可撓性部材の長さが約8インチである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記管状部材の長さが約6.75インチである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張要素の前記長方形セクションの断面の最大高さが約9.65mmである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張要素の前記長方形セクションの断面の最大幅が約5.08mmである、請求項1に記載の装置。
