Description
1.基材又は層の作業領域全体をコーティングする。この場合、上述したように、完成部分の後処理時に、不要材料を除去するのに大きな困難が伴う。
2.層又はシート上における特定の位置に配置されたときに、これら位置にて接着を防止する物質を使用する。この方法においては、層又はシート全体を最初にコーティングし、次いで「抗接着」物質を使用することにより、接着剤の一部が「非接着化」されるため、接着剤が実質的に浪費されるという欠点がある。
3.従来のプリンタがインクを印刷するように、静電システムを使用して、接着剤トナーを電子写真方式によりシート表面上に付着させる。この方法においては、技術的に複雑であると共に、特別に製造された接着剤トナーを必要とするという欠点がある。
a)接着剤用のリザーバと、
b)リザーバから基材上に接着剤を分注するために、リザーバと流体連通する接着剤ディスペンサと、
c)ディスペンサを基材の特定位置に導くようディスペンサ上で動作可能であることにより、後続する紙基材上に接着剤を分注する制御手段と、
を備え、ディスペンサが、対象基材に対して平行移動するよう取り付けられ、ディスペンサが、3D物体の層に対して平行移動される際に接着剤を分注するよう、回転可能に取り付けられた自己整列的な輪を有する。
・3D物体における複数層の個別層に接着剤を塗布するステップと、
・個別層に、デジタル印刷ファイルで規定された接着剤パターンに従って接着剤を塗布するステップと、
を含み、接着剤パターンを、最初に、物体における個別層の周囲形状に従う経路に塗布し、次いで、物体における個別層の形状を満たすよう塗布する。
Claims (28)
- 3次元(3D)物体のラピッドプロトタイピング用の積層物体造形(LOM)システムに使用される、3D物体の層を規定する対象基材Sに接着剤を塗布する接着剤分注装置であって、
前記接着剤分注装置が、周方向に離間して配置され、かつ接着剤を収容する複数の凹部を有する接着剤塗布輪を備え、
前記接着剤分注装置が、前記対象基材上の選択位置に接着剤を付着させるために、前記対象基材に対して移動可能であり、
前記接着剤分注装置が、前記対象基材に対して平行移動するよう回転取り付け部を介して取り付けられ、前記回転取り付け部が、前記対象基材上の前記選択位置に接着剤を付着させるために、前記輪を前記対象基材に対する前記輪の平行移動方向に整列させるよう構成されている、接着剤分注装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記輪を有する前記接着剤分注装置の重心が、回転点と直接的に列になるよう取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の装置であって、接着剤分注装置が回転点を通る回転軸線周りで回転するよう取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記接着剤分注装置が回転点に対して、360度に亘って回転するよう取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が、回転軸線に対してオフセットされて取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が自己整列的である、装置。
- 請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が、前記基材に対する前記輪の平行移動方向に整列するよう取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が、前記基材上を移動するときに接線方向力で回転し、これにより移動方向に整列するよう取り付けられている、装置。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記接着剤分注装置が前記3D物体の形状に従って平行移動することにより、前記3D物体の形状に接着剤を付着させる、装置。
- 請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が、前記基材に対して平行移動されるときに、接着剤を直線経路、円形経路、又は他の不規則的経路で付着させるよう構成されている、装置。
- 請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記輪が、1個以上の凹部に充填された接着剤を対象基材上に搬送するとともに制御された量の接着剤を前記対象基材上における分離した位置に付着させるよう回転可能であり、
前記輪が、前記輪と前記対象基材との間の摩擦力で回転するよう構成されている、装置。 - 請求項11に記載の装置であって、前記輪の回転を補助する、摩擦輪又はスプロケット輪を更に備える装置。
- 請求項10に記載の装置であって、摩擦輪が、前記接着剤塗布輪に結合されている、装置。
- 請求項1〜13の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、接着剤ワイプを備え、前記接着剤塗布輪が前記ワイプに対して回転するときに1個以上の凹部に接着剤が充填されるよう、前記接着剤ワイプが前記接着剤塗布輪と共に接着剤充填チャンバを規定する、装置。
- 請求項1〜14の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、接着剤フィラー及び前記接着剤塗布輪の前記凹部への接着剤の流れを制御する流れ制御手段を更に備える装置。
- 請求項14又は15に記載の装置であって、接着剤充填チャンバの構成及び流れ制御手段により、接着剤の漏れを回避するよう構成されている装置。
- 請求項15又は16に記載の装置であって、前記流れ制御手段が、前記接着剤塗布輪の回転が停止すると、前記接着剤の流れも停止させるよう構成されている、装置。
- 請求項15〜17の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記流れ制御手段が、例えばソレノイドバルブであるバルブを備える、装置。
- 請求項1〜18の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記接着剤塗布輪が、前記基材に対して平行移動するときに、前記接着剤塗布輪が前記基材S上で加える下方力を制御すると共に変える下方力制御手段を更に備える装置。
- 請求項19に記載の装置であって、制御手段が、加える前記下方力を変えることにより、接着剤ドット当たりに付着される接着剤の量を制御する、装置。
- 請求項19又は20に記載の装置であって、分注器が、所定量の接着剤を紙基材上の特定位置で選択的に分注する、装置。
- 請求項19〜21の何れか一項に記載の装置であって、前記下方力制御手段が、ソレノイド又はボイスコイルを含む、装置。
- ラピッドプロトタイピング用の積層物体造形(LOM)又は選択的積層薄膜システムであって、請求項1〜22の何れか一項に記載の装置を備えるシステム。
- 請求項1〜22の何れか一項に記載の装置を使用して3次元物体を造形するために接着剤を塗布する方法であって、
・3次元物体における複数層の個別層に接着剤を塗布するステップと、
・前記個別層に関してデジタル印刷ファイルで規定された接着剤パターンに従って接着剤を塗布するステップと、
を含み、前記接着剤パターンは、最初に、前記物体における前記個別層の周囲形状に従う経路に塗布し、次いで、前記物体における前記個別層の周囲又は境界線内の領域を満たすよう塗布する方法。 - 請求項24に記載の方法であって、前記経路が、連続的な経路を含む方法。
- 請求項24又は25に記載の方法であって、前記接着剤を、接着剤ドットの線として付着する方法。
