Description
第一発明に係る電気コネクタは、相手コネクタに設けられた相手端子に対しコネクタの挿抜方向で摺接して接続される端子が端子保持体に保持されている。
第二発明に係る電気コネクタ組立体は、第一発明に係る電気コネクタと、該電気コネクタに接続される相手コネクタとを有する。
図1は、本発明の第一実施形態に係る電気コネクタを相手コネクタとともに下方から見て示した断面斜視図であり、コネクタ嵌合前の状態で示している。また、図2は、図1の両コネクタの嵌合接続後の状態を示す断面斜視図である。本実施形態に係る電気コネクタ1(以下、単に「コネクタ1」という)は、回路基板P1の実装面上に実装される回路基板用プラグコネクタであり、上記実装面に対して平行な一方向を配列方向として該実装面上に複数配列されている。相手コネクタ2は、他の回路基板P2の実装面上に配される回路基板用レセプタクルコネクタである。両コネクタは、回路基板P1,P2の実装面が互いに平行をなす姿勢のもとで、上記実装面に対して直角な方向(上下方向)をコネクタ挿抜方向として挿抜される。本実施形態では、相手コネクタ2は後述する複数の接続体30を有しており、一つの接続体30に対して一つのコネクタ1が上方から接続される。図1,2には、二つのコネクタ1と、該二つのコネクタ1にそれぞれ接続される二つの接続体30とが示されている。
本実施形態は、相手端子の対応接触部を端子の接触部へ案内する案内部が端子に形成されていることに加え、上記対応接触部を上記案内部へ案内するための補助案内部がハウジングに形成されており、この点で、ハウジングが補助案内部を有していない第一実施形態と構成が異なっている。
第一および第二実施形態では、端子に複数の接触部が設けられている端子に案内部が形成されていることとしたが、本実施形態では、案内部が相手端子に設けられており、この点で、第一および第二実施形態と異なっている。

Claims (3)
- 相手コネクタに設けられた相手端子に対しコネクタの挿抜方向で摺接して接続される端子が端子保持体に保持されている電気コネクタにおいて、
端子は、該端子の上記挿抜方向に軸線をもつ周面のうち周方向での少なくとも一部が端子保持体の壁面から露呈した露呈面を有しており、該露呈面の少なくとも一部をなす一面には、上記相手端子に設けられた対応接触部に対して接圧をもって接触する接触部が該一面の幅方向での中間位置に形成されており、
上記端子は、上記相手端子の上記対応接触部を上記幅方向で上記端子の上記接触部へ案内するための案内部を、上記挿抜方向で上記接触部の範囲に有しており、
該案内部は、上記端子の上記一面にて、端子の側端位置から上記幅方向で上記接触部へ向かうにつれて上記接圧が生じる接圧方向で上記相手端子の対応接触部へ近づくように傾斜して上記接触部まで連続する傾斜面として形成されており、
上記端子保持体は、相手端子の対応接触部を端子の一面の幅方向で該端子の案内部へ案内するための補助案内部を、コネクタの挿抜方向で上記案内部の範囲に有しており、
上記補助案内部は、上記端子保持体の壁面にて、上記端子の側端よりも上記幅方向での外方の位置から該幅方向で上記案内部へ向かうにつれて上記接圧方向で上記相手端子の対応接触部へ近づくように傾斜面として形成されていて、該傾斜面の頂部が上記接圧方向で上記案内部の範囲内に位置していることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。 - 端子は、該端子の一面に該一面の幅方向で間隔をもって複数の接触部が形成されているとともに、該接触部同士間に該接触部よりも没入した没入部が形成されており、
案内部は、上記複数の接触部のうち上記幅方向での両端に位置する接触部に連続していることとする請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 請求項1に記載の電気コネクタと、該電気コネクタに接続される相手コネクタとを有する電気コネクタ組立体であって、
相手コネクタに設けられた相手端子は、上記電気コネクタの端子の一面と対面する対応面から突出してコネクタの挿抜方向に延びる対応接触部が、上記対応面の幅方向で間隔をもって複数形成されていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ組立体。
