Description
本出願は、2016年10月6日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/405,036号および2016年12月21日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/437,493号の優先権を主張し、その両方の開示内容はその全体が参照によって本明細書に組み込まれる。
技術分野
●通常の一次結晶構成ブロック単位格子からつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、その単位格子がMWW骨格構造トポロジーを有するもの(単位格子は原子の空間配置であり、3次元空間に嵌め込まれるとその結晶構造を記述する。このような結晶構造は「ゼオライト骨格構造型のアトラス」、第5版、2001年刊で検討されており、その全内容は参照によって取り込まれる)。
●通常の二次構成ブロックからつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックはそのようなMWW骨格構造トポロジー単位格子の2次元嵌め込みであり、1個の単位格子の厚さ、好ましくは1個のc軸単位格子の厚さの単層を形成するもの。
●通常の二次構成ブロックからつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックは1個以上の単位格子の厚さの層であり、1個より多い単位格子の厚さの層はMWW骨格構造トポロジー単位格子の少なくとも2つの単層を積み重ね、詰め込みまたは結合することによってつくられる。そのような二次構成ブロックの積み重ねは、規則的な様式、不規則な様式、ランダムの様式またはこれらの任意の組み合わせであってもよいもの。および
●任意の規則的なまたはランダムの、2次元または3次元のMWW骨格構造トポロジーを有する単位格子の組み合わせによってつくられたモレキュラーシーブ。
Claims (10)
- パラキシレンを製造するプロセスであって、以下の工程を含むプロセス:
(a)ベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンを含んでいる芳香族炭化水素供給原料を、メタノールおよび/またはジメチルエーテルを含んでいるアルキル化剤と、5未満の拘束指数を有するモレキュラーシーブを含んでいるアルキル化触媒の存在下で、および500℃未満の温度および700kPa−a〜7000kPa−aの範囲の圧力を含むアルキル化条件下で、少なくとも1つのアルキル化反応ゾーン中で接触させて、キシレンを含んでいるアルキル化芳香族製品を製造する工程であって、
少なくとも1:4の前記アルキル化剤とベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンとのモル比が、目標パラキシレン選択率が達成されるまで使用される工程;および
(b)前記アルキル化芳香族製品からパラキシレンを回収する工程
を含むとともに、前記アルキル化触媒がMWW骨格構造の少なくとも1種のモレキュラーシーブを含んでおり、前記アルキル化条件が250℃〜450℃の温度を含む、プロセス。 - 前記目標パラキシレン選択率が、キシレンの全量に基いて少なくとも35重量%のパラキシレンを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化剤とベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンとのモル比が1:4〜1:2である、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記芳香族炭化水素供給原料が、少なくとも90重量%のトルエンを含んでいる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化剤がメタノールを含んでいる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化芳香族製品が、少なくとも70重量%のキシレンを含んでいる、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化触媒が、MCM−22、PSH−3、SSZ−25、ERB−1、ITQ−1、ITQ−2、MCM−36、MCM−49、MCM−56、EMM−10、EMM−12、EMM−13、UZM−8、UZM−8HS、UZM−37、MIT−1およびこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれた少なくとも1種のモレキュラーシーブを含んでいる、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化触媒がMCM−49を含んでいる、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化条件が、250℃〜400℃の温度を含む、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化条件が、2,000kPa-a〜7,000kPa-aの圧力を含む、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
