Description
本出願は、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる、2017年12月19日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/607,817号“ELECTROSURGICAL SYSTEM AND METHOD TO SIMULTANOUSLY SEAL AND CUT”の優先権の利益を主張する。
Claims (8)
- 生物学的組織をシール及び切断するための電気手術システムであって:
一組のシール電極の間に交流(AC)シール信号を与えるとともに一組の切断電極の間にAC切断信号を与えるように構成される信号発生器と;
前記ACシール信号が前記一組のシール電極の間に与えられる間に前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンスを測定するように構成されるコントローラと;
を有し、
前記コントローラは、前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスが第1のインピーダンス閾値に達することに応答して、前記ACシール信号が前記一組のシール電極の間に与えられる間に、前記一組の切断電極の間に前記AC切断信号を与えるよう前記信号発生器を制御するように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記AC切断信号が前記一組の切断電極の間に与えられる間に、前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンスを測定するように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスが第2のインピーダンス閾値に達することに応答して、前記一組のシール電極の間の前記ACシール信号を停止するよう前記信号発生器を制御し;前記AC切断信号を停止するよう前記信号発生器を制御する、ように構成される、
システム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記ACシール信号を停止した後に前記AC切断信号を停止するよう前記信号発生器を制御するように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスが前記第2のインピーダンス閾値に達した後に延びるシール滞留時間の間に前記ACシール信号を前記一組のシール電極の間に与えるように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記信号発生器は、前記一組のシール電極と前記一組の切断電極との間に共通して共有される少なくとも1つの電極に、前記ACシール信号を与えるとともに前記AC切断信号を与えるように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記信号発生器は、前記一組の切断電極の間に複数の切断信号パルスを与えるように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記一組の切断電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンス値に基づいて前記切断信号パルスの数を調節するよう前記信号発生器を制御するように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1のインピーダンス閾値は前記第2のインピーダンス閾値より低い、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記AC切断信号が前記一組の切断電極の間に与えられる間に、前記一組の切断電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンスを測定するように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記一組の切断電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスが第3のインピーダンス閾値に達することに応答して、前記AC切断信号を停止させるように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記AC切断信号が前記一組の切断電極の間に与えられる間に、前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンスを測定するように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記ACシール信号が前記一組のシール電極の間に与えられる間に、前記一組の切断電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織のインピーダンスを測定するように構成され;
前記コントローラは、前記一組の切断電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスが切断アーク閾値に達し且つ前記一組のシール電極の間に配置された前記生物学的組織の前記インピーダンスがシールアーク閾値に達していないことに応答して、前記ACシール信号を与え続けながら前記AC切断信号を停止するように構成される、
請求項1に記載のシステム。
