Description

Article 30, Paragraph 2 of the Patent Law Applicable Building Equipment Engineer March 2020 (March), p. 17 issued by the Association of Construction Equipment Engineers, Reiwa on March 5, 2020.

The present invention relates to a method for cleaning a heat exchanger coil in an air conditioner. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for cleaning a heat exchanger coil such as a fan coil unit of an air conditioner installed on the ceiling, which makes it possible to easily clean the heat exchanger coil even in a limited space in the ceiling. ..

The coil of the air conditioner installed on the ceiling, etc. needs to be cleaned at regular intervals because the fins, etc. are clogged with dust in the air, which reduces the air conditioning efficiency and may generate odor due to mold, etc. after many years of use. However, it is difficult to clean and it is not actually cleaned. However, when the air conditioning efficiency is significantly lowered and a bad odor is generated, conventionally, for example, a coil which is a heat exchanger of a ceiling-mounted hidden pay type air conditioner is disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2. As shown above, these members and units were lowered from the aircraft and cleaned by cleaning.
Further, in the vertical air conditioner, as shown in Patent Document 3, cleaning is performed by opening the front door and sprinkling water from the front surface for cleaning.

By the way, in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, in order to lower the unit downward from the machine body, the fan motor unit and the coil unit are slidably moved by providing a guide mechanism in the vertical direction, but the guide mechanism becomes large and also. There were problems such as the need for a large ceiling space. Further, in the above-mentioned Patent Document 2, although the attachment / detachment device is for the fan motor unit, it is necessary to remove the fan motor unit from the casing, which has the same problem as in Patent Document 2.
Further, Patent Document 3 mentioned above has a problem that the washing water is scattered on a fan, a fan drive motor, a humidifier, etc. other than the heat exchange coil to be cleaned in order to clean the entire apparatus, which causes an unexpected failure or the like. There was a point.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, in order to prevent water from splashing in front of and behind the coil, which is a heat exchanger, even in a limited space in the ceiling in a fan coil unit of an air conditioner installed on the ceiling. The cleaning baffle plate is arranged.
That is, in a unitized structure such as a fan of an air conditioner installed on the ceiling, for example, a fan coil unit, an upstream inspection port is provided on the side surface of the frame on the upstream side of the coil which is a heat exchanger, and the coil is provided with an upstream inspection port. A downstream inspection port on the side surface of the frame on the downstream side is provided, and when cleaning the coil, the upstream inspection port opens the lid of the upstream inspection port and a cleaning baffle plate for blocking water sprinkling is parallel to the coil on the upstream side of the upstream inspection port. Similarly, after opening the lid of the downstream inspection port and inserting the cleaning baffle plate for water sprinkling cutoff in parallel with the coil, and inserting the cleaning baffle plate for water sprinkling cutoff on both sides of the coil. This is a method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil in an air conditioner that can clean the coil by inserting a cleaning nozzle for cleaning into the upstream inspection port. In particular, in the ceiling-hung hidden pay type air conditioner, since there is no room for height, it is possible to work from the side, which is effective.
Further, in the method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil, a coil bottom plate is arranged above the drain pan on the bottom surface of the coil, and the coil bottom plate is provided with a lower inspection port and a lid on the side surface of the frame body during coil cleaning. By pulling out the coil bottom plate, the drain holes of the coil bottom plate are not clogged, and the cleaning efficiency is improved.
That is, according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the air conditioner installed on the ceiling, an upstream inspection port is provided on the side surface of the frame body on the upstream side of the coil which is a heat exchanger, and the downstream inspection port is provided on the side surface of the frame body on the downstream side of the coil. When cleaning the coil, the upstream inspection port is provided with a cleaning baffle plate for blocking water sprinkling on the upstream side of the upstream inspection port by opening the lid of the upstream inspection port. Open the lid and insert a cleaning baffle plate parallel to the coil to block water sprinkling , a drain pan is provided on the bottom of the coil, and a coil bottom plate is provided between the coil and the drain pan, and the coil bottom plate is on the side surface of the frame. The coil bottom plate can be pulled out at the time of coil cleaning by opening the lid of the coil cleaning inspection port provided in.
An air conditioner characterized in that a cleaning baffle plate for blocking water sprinkling can be inserted into the upstream side and the downstream side of the coil, and then a cleaning nozzle for cleaning can be inserted into the upstream inspection port to clean the coil. It is a cleaning method of the heat exchanger coil in.
The invention according to claim 2 is a ceiling-hung hidden pay type air conditioner in the method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil in the air conditioner according to claim 1.
The invention of claim 3 is the method for cleaning a heat exchanger coil in the air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the upstream inspection port, the downstream inspection port, and the coil cleaning inspection port are frame bodies. It is characterized by being arranged on one side.

According to the method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil in the fan coil unit of the air conditioner of the present invention, the coil is not removed from the frame and is not disassembled even in a limited space in the ceiling as in the conventional case. By arranging the baffle plates in front of and behind the coil, it is possible to prevent water from being scattered on members such as fans and fan motors other than the coil and cause a failure, and it is possible to sufficiently clean the fin surface of the coil.
In addition, the lids of the upstream inspection port and downstream inspection port provided on the side surface of the frame can be removed, and the cleaning baffle plate before and after the coil can be attached and detached using this opening, and a cleaning nozzle for cleaning is inserted in the upstream inspection port. Since the coil can be cleaned, the fin surface of the coil can be easily cleaned without moving or disassembling the coil.
In addition, even if there is not enough space for the height, such as a ceiling-mounted type, especially a ceiling-hung hidden pay type air conditioner, a worker can invade through a nearby ceiling inspection door and the frame of the air conditioner. Cleaning work from the side is possible.
Conventionally, a coil bottom plate is generally placed on the bottom surface of the coil so that air leaks from the drain pan. However, a drain hole is provided at the bottom of the coil bottom plate to remove dew condensation water, etc. When the holes were clogged, it was necessary to disassemble the coil bottom plate and drain pan. In the present invention, the coil bottom plate can be attached and detached, so if the coil bottom plate is pulled out and cleaned, the drain holes of the coil bottom plate will not be clogged, the cleaning water will be drained smoothly, and the efficiency of cleaning work will be improved. do.
Furthermore, since the upstream inspection port, the downstream inspection port, and the coil cleaning inspection port are arranged on one side of the unit frame, the cleaning work can be performed from one side, so that the work can be performed with the unit installed on the ceiling. Is possible.

Examples of the method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil in the fan coil unit of the air conditioner of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[Example]
A preferred embodiment of the method for cleaning the heat exchanger coil in the fan coil unit of the air conditioner of the present invention will be described.
First, in the first embodiment of FIG. 1, the entire configuration of the air conditioner 1 is usually set in a ceiling installation including a coil in the air conditioner, for example, a fan coil unit (solid line) 2 in which a fan and a coil are unitized. A suction port 11 for sucking indoor return air RA and a filter 12 are provided on the upstream side of the fan coil unit 2, and a humidifier 13 and an air outlet 14 for blowing out air-conditioned air supply SA are provided on the downstream side of the fan coil unit 2. A drain pan 15 that receives dew condensation or the like is arranged at the lower portion, and a drain port 151 is provided at an appropriate position thereof.
The fan coil unit 2 in which the fan 21 and the coil 23 which is a heat exchanger are combined is generally arranged on the upstream side so that two fans 21 are interlocked and driven by the drive motor 22 and are driven on the downstream side of the fan 21. The coil 23 is arranged in.
An upstream inspection port 3 having a relatively large area is provided on the frame body side surface 24 on the upstream side of the coil 23, and a downstream inspection port 5 on the frame body side surface 24 on the downstream side of the coil 23 is provided. The reason why the opening area of the upstream inspection port 3 is large is that the cleaning nozzle of the cleaning device 9 is inserted inside for cleaning work, which will be described later.

When cleaning the coil, the upstream inspection port 3 is released from the wing nut 34, which is a lid fixing tool for the lid 31 (dashed line) of the upstream inspection port 3, and the upstream inspection port 3 is opened to open the upstream inspection port 3 upstream. As shown in FIG. 3 for blocking water sprinkling on the side, a baffle plate 4 for cleaning the upstream side is provided, but a lower rail for the baffle plate in which the lower part 41 of the baffle plate 4 of the baffle plate 4 for cleaning the upstream side is provided inside the frame body 25. It is fitted to 32, and similarly, the upper portion 42 of the baffle plate is fitted to the upper rail 33 for the baffle plate, the grip portion 43 is gripped, and the grip portion 43 is inserted in parallel with the coil 23 in the direction orthogonal to the air flow. Since the baffle plate 4 is for blocking water sprinkling to the upstream side, it is desirable that the area is such that the entire surface of the air passage is blocked.
Similarly, a downstream inspection port 5 is provided on the side surface 24 of the frame on the downstream side of the coil 23, and the downstream inspection port 5 is opened by releasing the stop with the wing nut 54 of the lid 51 (dashed line) of the downstream inspection port 5. As shown in FIG. 3 for shutting off water from the downstream inspection port 5, the baffle plate 6 for downstream cleaning is fitted to the lower rail 52 for the baffle plate provided inside the frame body 25, and the upper part of the baffle plate is fitted. The 62 is fitted to the upper rail 53 for the baffle plate, the grip portion 63 is gripped, and the grip portion 63 is inserted in parallel with the coil 23 in the direction orthogonal to the air flow. Since the baffle plate 6 is also for blocking water sprinkling to the downstream side, it is desirable that the area is such that the entire surface of the air passage is blocked. Since the baffle plate 4 and the baffle plate 6 have the same shape, the baffle plate 6 is shown in parentheses in FIG.

Further, although the coil bottom plate 8 having a hole 82 is provided on the bottom surface of the coil 23, the coil cleaning inspection port 7 and the lid 71 for the coil bottom plate 8 are provided on the side surface 24 of the frame body to clean the coil. Occasionally, if the coil bottom plate 8 is pulled out, the washing water is smoothly drained to the drain pan 15, and the drain hole 82 of the coil bottom plate 8 is not clogged during cleaning.
In addition, since the drain pan 15 that receives dew condensation inside the air conditioner 1 is provided on the lower side of the coil bottom plate 8 and the drain port 151 is provided at an appropriate position, water sprinkled during cleaning can be drained.
If the upstream inspection port 3, the downstream inspection port 5, and the coil cleaning inspection port 7 at the bottom of the frame are all collected on one frame side surface 24 of the fan coil unit 2, cleaning work can be performed from one side. Therefore, cleaning can be completed with the air conditioner 1 installed on the ceiling. Of course, if necessary, it may be used for the upstream inspection port 3, the downstream inspection port 5, and the coil cleaning inspection port 7 on both the left and right sides.

[Cleaning procedure]
Since the present invention has the above structure, the procedure for cleaning the coil 23 of the fan coil unit 2 is as follows.
The coil 23 is composed of a plurality of fins, and dust and the like adhere to the fins, so that it is necessary to sufficiently sprinkle the washing water W of high-pressure water. Therefore, first, the wing nut 34 of the lid 31 of the upstream inspection port 3 is removed, the lid 31 is removed, the baffle plate 4 for cleaning the upstream side is used, the lower rail 32 for the baffle plate on the fan coil unit 2 side, and the upper baffle plate. It is inserted along the rail 33 while being fitted to the lower part 41 and the upper part 42 of the baffle plate 4 of the baffle plate 4 for upstream cleaning.
Next, the wing nut 54 of the lid 51 of the downstream inspection port 5 is removed, the lid 51 is removed, the baffle plate 6 for cleaning the downstream side is placed, and the lower rail 52 for the baffle plate and the baffle plate are placed on the downstream side of the fan coil unit 2. It is inserted along the upper rail 53 while being fitted to the lower portion 61 and the upper portion 62 of the baffle plate 6 for cleaning the downstream side.
Further, the wing nut 72 of the lid 71 of the coil cleaning inspection port 7 is removed, the lid 71 is removed, and the grip portion 81 of the coil bottom plate 8 is gripped and pulled out. When cleaning the coil 23 (coil fin) immediately after the cooling operation, the coil bottom plate 8 is pulled out while taking out the drain water.

In this way, with the baffle plates for drainage inserted in front of and behind the coil and the coil bottom plate 8 facing, as shown in FIG. 2, the worker puts a pump 92 or the like in the upstream inspection port 3 having a large area. The cleaning nozzle 91 of the conventional cleaning device 9 provided is inserted to perform cleaning from the upstream side of the air, and water is sprinkled (reference numeral W) in the cleaning direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 1 to clean the coil 3.
After cleaning in this way, the baffle plate 4 for upstream cleaning and the baffle plate 6 for downstream cleaning are pulled out from the fan coil unit 2, the lid 31 and the lid 51 are replaced, and the wing nuts 34 and 54 are replaced. Fix it with a lid fixing tool such as, insert the coil bottom plate 8 into the inspection port 7 for cleaning the coil, and fix the lid 71 as before with a fixing tool such as a wing nut 72.

Since the cleaning method of the coil 23, which is the heat exchanger in the fan coil unit 2 of the air conditioner 1 of the embodiment of the present invention, has the above-described configuration, even in a limited space in the ceiling as in the conventional case. By simply arranging the cleaning baffle plates 4 and 6 in front of and behind the coil 23 without lowering the coil 3 from the frame and disassembling the coil 23, members such as fans and drive motors other than the coil can be used. It is possible to prevent water from being scattered on the coil 23 and to clean the fin surface to which dust easily adheres to the coil 23.
Further, the cleaning baffle plates 4 and 6 for sprinkling shield can be attached and detached by using the upstream inspection port 3 and the downstream inspection port 5 provided on the side surface 24 of the frame body, and the cleaning nozzle 91 for cleaning is attached to the upstream inspection port 3. Since the coil 23 can be inserted and cleaned, the fin surface of the coil 23 can be easily cleaned without moving or disassembling the coil 23.
In addition, even if there is not enough space at the height of the ceiling space, such as a ceiling-mounted type, especially a ceiling-suspended hidden pay type air conditioner, a worker can invade through a nearby ceiling inspection door or the like to harmonize the air. Cleaning work can be performed from the side surface 24 of the frame body of the machine 1.
Further, conventionally, the coil bottom plate 8 is generally arranged on the bottom surface of the coil 23 so as not to cause air leakage from the drain pan 15, but a drain hole 82 is provided in the lower portion of the coil bottom plate 8 in order to remove dew condensation water and the like. However, when the drain hole 82 was clogged, it was necessary to disassemble the coil bottom plate 8 and the drain pan 15. In the present invention, the coil bottom plate 8 can be attached and detached. Therefore, if the coil bottom plate 8 is pulled out and cleaned, the drain hole 83 of the coil bottom plate will not be clogged, and the cleaning water can be smoothly removed for cleaning work. Efficiency is improved.
Furthermore, since the upstream inspection port, downstream inspection port, and coil cleaning inspection port are located on one side of the unit frame, cleaning work can be performed from one side and the work can be performed in the actual ceiling installation situation. be.
Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment as long as it does not impair the characteristics of the present invention.
