Description
本出願は、2013年6月15日出願の「Self-Bonding, Bulky, Uniform, Stretchy Spunbond Process and Fabric」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/846,152号から、また2014年4月30日出願の「High Lofted Spunbond Fabric」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/986,465号からの優先権を主張する。これらの仮特許出願の開示は、参照によりその全体が本明細書に援用される。
Claims (8)
- 連続フィラメントスパンレイドウェブを形成する方法であって、
紡糸口金から複数のポリマー繊維を押し出すステップ;
支持表面上で前記複数の繊維を回収して繊維のウェブを形成するステップであって、前記ウェブは単一ポリマー成分繊維及び/又は複合繊維を含む前記ステップ;及び
前記ウェブが非拘束状態である間にいかなる熱又は機械的結合処理も受けずに前記ウェブ内の前記繊維を交絡させるように前記ウェブの繊維を捲縮、屈曲及び交絡させるステップ、ここで前記ウェブの前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡は:
前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡前の第1の厚さから前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡後の第2の厚さへの増大;及び
前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡前の前記ウェブの密度に対する前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡後の前記ウェブの密度の低下;及び
前記ウェブは、前記ウェブの機械方向(MD)及び前記ウェブの交差方向(CD)のうちの少なくとも一方において30%~350%の間の任意の一点における弾性伸びに耐えるよう構成される;及び
前記ウェブは、MD及び/又はCD寸法において50重量グラム/cm2~5000重量グラム/cm2の引張強度を有する、
をもたらし、ここで前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡は、前記ウェブが実質的に非拘束状態である間に前記ウェブを加熱することを含む、そして
更に、前記ウェブの前記繊維の捲縮、屈曲及び交絡前に前記ウェブを回収ロールに巻き付けるステップを含む、前記連続フィラメントスパンレイドウェブを形成する方法。 - 更に、前記ウェブの前記繊維を捲縮、屈曲及び交絡するステップの後に前記ウェブを結合するステップを含み、
前記結合は、機械的結合及び熱結合のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記押し出すステップは、複合繊維又は2つ以上の単一ポリマー成分繊維を押し出すステップを含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記複合繊維内のうちの少なくとも2つのポリマー成分は、ポリプロピレン及びポリ乳酸を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記押し出すステップは、更にサイドバイサイド型、多葉形、シースコア、海の島状、中実円形、及び中空円形で構成される群から選択される断面を有する繊維を押し出すステップを含む、請求項3又は4に記載の方法。
- 異なる繊維の断面を有する前記2つ以上の繊維が押し出される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記押し出すステップは、更に、50%~95%の第1のポリマー成分及び5%~50%の第2のポリマー成分の体積比を有する複合繊維を押し出すステップを含む、請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 前記押し出すステップは、更に、前記ウェブ内に2つ以上の積み重なった層が形成されるように前記ポリマー繊維を押し出すステップを含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
