Yuko (Citrus Yuko) is a citrus citrus fruit of the Rutaceae family, a natural hybrid of Yuzu and Daidai , and is known as the original species of Sudachi. Yuzu has poor cold resistance compared to Yuzu and Sudachi, and its production is limited to a specific area centered on Tokushima Prefecture, so its production is low and its name is low nationwide. Therefore, little nutritional and food science research on Yukou has been conducted so far.

Although the composition and active ingredients of the natural material Yuzu have not been clearly elucidated, it is believed that Yuzu has characteristics not found in other citrus fruits such as Yuzu and Sudachi. Therefore, it is considered that Yukou has a different use from other citrus fruits.

It has been reported that Yukou can be used as a hair restorer and cosmetics, but there is no particular report on other uses except that it is used for component comparison with other citrus fruits (Non-Patent Document 1). -2 and Patent Documents 1-2).

(2) Results The results are shown in FIG. FIG. 5 shows the ratio of the number of bacteria after addition of Yukou soap solution (0.1 g / 100 μL) when the normal number of bacteria is 100%.
It was confirmed that the number of bacteria was reduced by about 20% by adding the Yukou soap solution.

Example 6: Examination of improvement effect of high-fat diet-induced glucose intolerance by yukou juice (1) Method A 6-week-old C57B16 mouse (purchased from Japan SLC) was given a high-fat diet (HFD-60) for 28 days. At the same time, 200 μL of 100% Yukou juice was orally administered once a day for 28 days (n = 6). In the control group, saline was administered instead of 100% Yukou juice (n = 6). After 28 days, the patient was fasted overnight and an oral glucose tolerance test was performed.

(2) Results The results are shown in FIG. FIG. 6 shows the blood glucose levels in the Yukou-administered group and the physiological saline-administered group (control group) after 0 to 120 minutes of glucose loading.
In the oral glucose tolerance test, the blood glucose level 30 minutes after glucose loading was significantly lower in the Yukou-administered group than in the control group. This result indicates that Yukou juice has an effect of improving high-fat diet-induced glucose intolerance.
There was no significant difference in body weight between the Yukou juice-administered group and the physiological saline-administered group for 4 weeks.
