すなわち、本発明は、以下の態様を包含する。
(1)水洗式トイレ便器内側の壁面上部に洗浄用固形薬剤を設置するための薬剤保持具であって、該薬剤保持具を便器リム部に係止するための係止部、係止部に延設され、設置時に固形薬剤(C)よりも便器中央方向にあり下方に垂下する垂下部、及び垂下部の下部に延設され、固形薬剤を支持するための薬剤支持部を有し、かつ、弾性を有する係止部材(A)、及び少なくとも設置時には前記薬剤支持部に係止することができ、固形薬剤(C)を、少なくとも固形薬剤の便器内壁に相対する面が露出した状態で固定するための薬剤固定部材(B)を有する薬剤保持具。

薬剤固定部材の材料としては、プラスチック、金属等が挙げられ、好ましくはプラスチックが挙げられる。
薬剤固定部材における、薬剤支持部との係止部位の位置は、特に限定されない。設置時における係止部位の位置に関しては、薬剤固定部材の上側、中央付近、下側のいずれでもよく、製造の容易さ等に応じて選択できる。また、設置時に便器中央方向から薬剤を見た場合の左右方向に関しては、薬剤固定部材と薬剤とを合わせた部分(後記の薬剤部材(D))の重心付近に該係止部位があるように設計すれば、安定に設置しやすい点で好ましい。

水流緩衝部は、薬剤固定部材の端部に一体的に又は別体として、好ましくは、一体的に設けられる。また、水流緩衝部は、薬剤から見て水流上流側に当たる1端のみでなく、両端に設けてもよく、このようにすれば水流方向の異なる便器にも対応できる。
水流緩衝部を薬剤固定部材の端部に別体として設ける場合は、接着、ねじ等の固定用部品等の手段により固定的に設けてもよいし、嵌合等の手段により着脱自在に設けてもよい。
水流緩衝部の材料としては、プラスチック、金属等が挙げられ、好ましくはプラスチックが挙げられる。

薬剤保持具(1)の係止部(3)は、図1~3において示されるように、弾性部材が巻き込まれた形状を有しており、便器(8)のリム部(9)に設置したときに、係止部(3)が伸びてリム部(9)の上面に巻き戻される力を利用して巻き付く。係止部(3)には垂下部(4)が延設されており、設置時には、垂下部(4)は便器リム部(9)から固形薬剤(2)よりも便器中央方向にあり下方に垂下する。垂下部(4)の先には、略L字状に薬剤支持部(5)が延設されている。このような形状とすることにより、図1の設置時の図に示すように、設置時に固形薬剤(2)を凹部(10)内へ進入させることができる。
薬剤支持部(5)には、突起(11)を設けて、薬剤固定部材(6)を薬剤支持部(5)に嵌合させたときに、外れないようにすることができる。
薬剤固定部材(6)は、図4に示されるように、細長い形状で複数個の小孔(12)を有し、一端に水流緩衝部(7)が設けられている。薬剤固定部材(6)の中央下部には、薬剤支持部(5)に係止するための差し込み口を有する。
