Description
Claims (18)
- 水素を燃料とする内燃機関を運転する方法であって、
前記内燃機関は、少なくとも1つのシリンダを備え、
モード閾値を決定するステップであって、前記モード閾値は前記内燃機関のトルクを表す、ステップと、
前記内燃機関の運転中に、前記内燃機関の要求トルクを決定するステップと、
前記要求トルクを前記モード閾値と比較するステップと、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より小さい場合に、前記内燃機関を低負荷モードで運転するステップであって、前記低負荷モードは火花点火及び予混合燃焼を使用する、ステップと、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より大きい場合に、前記内燃機関を高負荷モードで運転するステップであって、前記高負荷モードは点火プラグを使用しない圧縮着火及び拡散燃焼を使用する、ステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記要求トルクを決定するステップは、少なくとも部分的に吸気流センサを使用して
実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記要求トルクを決定するステップは、少なくとも部分的にトルク制御センサを使用して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記要求トルクを決定するステップは、少なくとも部分的にノックセンサを使用して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記要求トルクを決定するステップは、少なくとも部分的にシリンダ内圧力センサを使用して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内燃機関は、前記シリンダの上部の中心に取り付けられた燃料インジェクタと、前記燃料インジェクタと共に配置された点火プラグとを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料インジェクタは多孔インジェクタであり、前記点火プラグは、前記燃料インジェクタの複数の噴霧プルームのうちの2つの噴霧プルームの間にギャップを有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料インジェクタは単一孔インジェクタであり、前記点火プラグは、前記燃料インジェクタによって生成された噴霧プルームの周囲にギャップを有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記高負荷モードの圧縮着火は、後期水素噴射を伴う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高負荷モードの圧縮着火の前に、水素の予備噴射が行われ、前記内燃機関の希薄燃焼限界を下回る希薄な水素と空気の混合気の予備噴射が提供される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 水素を燃料とする改良された内燃機関であって、
前記内燃機関は、少なくとも1つのシリンダを備え、
前記改良は、
前記シリンダの上部の中心に取り付けられた燃料インジェクタと、前記燃料インジェクタと共に配置された点火プラグとを有する、前記少なくとも1つのシリンダと、
モード閾値を記憶するモードコントローラであって、前記モード閾値は前記内燃機関のトルクを表す、モードコントローラと、
前記内燃機関の運転中に前記内燃機関の要求トルクを決定するように動作可能な少なくとも1つのセンサと、
を備え、
前記モードコントローラは、前記要求トルクを前記モード閾値と比較するようにさらに動作可能であり、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より小さい場合に、前記内燃機関を火花点火及び予混合燃焼を使用する低負荷モードで運転し、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より大きい場合に、前記内燃機関を点火プラグを使用しない圧縮着火及び拡散燃焼を使用する高負荷モードで運転する、
改良された内燃機関。 - 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、吸気流センサである、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、トルク制御センサである、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、ノックセンサである、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、シリンダ内圧力センサである、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 前記燃料インジェクタは多孔インジェクタであり、前記点火プラグは、前記燃料インジェクタの複数の噴霧プルームのうちの2つの噴霧プルームの間にギャップを有する、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 前記燃料インジェクタは単一孔インジェクタであり、前記点火プラグは、前記燃料インジェクタによって生成された噴霧プルームの周囲にギャップを有する、請求項11に記載の改良された内燃機関。
- 水素を燃料とする内燃機関を運転する方法であって、
前記内燃機関は、少なくとも1つのシリンダを備え、
モード閾値を決定するステップであって、前記モード閾値は前記内燃機関のトルクを表す、ステップと、
前記内燃機関の運転中に、前記内燃機関の要求トルクを決定するステップと、
前記要求トルクを前記モード閾値と比較するステップと、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より小さい場合に、前記内燃機関を低負荷モードで運転するステップであって、前記低負荷モードはスパークアシスト圧縮着火を使用する、ステップと、
前記要求トルクが前記モード閾値より大きい場合に、前記内燃機関を高負荷モードで運転するステップであって、前記高負荷モードは点火プラグを使用しない圧縮着火及び拡散燃焼を使用する、ステップと、
を含む方法。
