BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a vehicle luggage support that is attached to the interior of a vehicle.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to hang a clothes hanger, for example, in a vehicle compartment, the hanger is hung by directly hooking the hook portion of the hanger to assist grips provided on the left and right sides of the ceiling of the vehicle compartment.

However, when the hangers are hung directly on the assist grip as described above, not only can many hangers not be hung on one assist grip, but also the clothes hung on the hung hangers block a part of the doorway of the vehicle, which causes a problem in getting on and off of the passenger.

Therefore, Patent Literature 1 proposes a luggage support (hanging bar) for automobiles, which is attached to an assist grip or a hook member of a vehicle and can easily hang a clothes hanger or the like in the vehicle interior. This hanging bar is configured by providing a first hooking portion that can be hooked on assist grips provided on both left and right sides of the vehicle interior, and a second hooking portion that can be hooked on hook members provided on both left and right sides of the vehicle interior, on both longitudinal ends of a rod-shaped main body having a substantially circular cross section and a predetermined length. By using such a hanging bar, the hanging bar can be attached using the assist grips and hook members provided on the left and right sides of the vehicle interior, and a hanger or the like can be easily hung on the hanging bar. Moreover, according to this hanging bar, it is also possible to put long articles such as fishing rods and surfboards on the hanging bar and store them in the passenger compartment for transportation.

However, in the automobile hanging bar proposed in Patent Document 1, the main body is made of hard metal such as aluminum. Therefore, it is not easy to handle, and it cannot be folded when not needed, resulting in a large storage space. In addition, if the occupant hits the hard hanging bar with the head or the like, the occupant may suffer more damage.

Furthermore, since the hanging bar proposed in Patent Document 1 can only be attached to the assist grip or the hook member, its application is limited, and depending on the shape and size of the assist grip and hook member, the hanging bar may not be attached.

In addition, the hanging bar proposed in Patent Document 1 requires separate fixtures for restricting lateral movement of loads such as fishing rods and surfboards when placed on them, and in particular attachments that match the shape of the fishing rods and surfboards. In addition, small items cannot be hung on the parts of the main body on which fishing rods, surfboards, and the like are placed. Furthermore, in order to hang a small article on the hanging bar, a special tool such as an S-shaped hook having a diameter equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the hanging bar is required.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its object is to provide a luggage support for vehicles which is easy to handle, requires only a small storage space when not in use, and is highly versatile without being subject to restrictions on mounting locations and applications.

To achieve the above object, the present invention is a vehicle luggage support (1) that is used by being attached to the interior of a vehicle.

According to the luggage support for a vehicle according to the present invention, the main body is composed of an elongated core made of a non-metallic member having flexibility and a flexible cover member covering the core, so that it is lightweight and flexible, so that it is easy to handle. Furthermore, since the main body of the luggage support for vehicles is flexible, even if the passenger accidentally bumps the head against the main body, the passenger hardly suffers damage.

In addition, in this vehicle luggage support (1), the connecting members (5) may be attached to the longitudinal ends of the cover member (3) or in the vicinity thereof.

According to this configuration, since the connecting member is attached to the cover member, it is possible to simplify the configuration of the core member.

Further, in this vehicle luggage support (1), the cover member (3) is made of a belt-like fabric, and both ends in the width direction or the vicinity thereof are joined by both the first and second detachable locking members (8a, 8b) and the second locking member (9) provided along the longitudinal direction to form a cylindrical shape covering the core material (2). Further, in this case, the first fasteners can be hook-and-loop fasteners (8a, 8b), and the second fasteners can be wire fasteners (9).

According to this configuration, the joint strength of the cover member can be effectively increased by joining the widthwise ends of the strip-shaped cover member with both the first locking member and the second locking member. Therefore, even when the hanging bar is connected to the interior of the vehicle by the connecting member attached to the cover member, or when a load is hung on the cover member, the cover member can be effectively prevented from coming off the core.

Further, if the first locking member is a hook-and-loop fastener and the second locking member is a line fastener, the cover member can be easily attached to or detached from the outer periphery of the core material with one touch, so that the core material can be covered with the cover member and the main body can be easily assembled or disassembled.

Further, in this vehicle luggage support (1), the connection member (5) may be composed of a length-adjustable string-like or band-like member (6) and a connector (7) detachably connecting both ends of the string-like or band-like member (6) to the cover member (3).

According to this configuration, after connecting both ends of the main body or the vicinity thereof to predetermined locations in the vehicle compartment by the connecting members, the length of the string-like or belt-like member is adjusted, so that the vehicle baggage support can be securely attached to the predetermined locations in the vehicle interior without slack. In addition, both ends of the main body or the vicinity thereof can be attached by the string-like or band-like members of the connecting member without being restricted by the attachment location or application in the vehicle interior, so the versatility of the vehicle baggage support is enhanced.

In addition, in this vehicle luggage support (1), another string-like or band-like member (10) may be provided at one or more locations in the longitudinal direction of the cover member (3), one end of which is attached to the cover member (3) and the other end of which is detachably attached to the cover member (3) with detachable fasteners (12a, 12b).

According to this configuration, for example, when a thin and long load such as a fishing rod is placed across two or more vehicle load supports arranged in the vehicle front-rear direction, the load such as the fishing rod can be fixed by another string-like or belt-like member, so that the load can be prevented from moving.

In addition, in this vehicle luggage support (1), a plurality of suspension parts (13) for suspending luggage may be provided along the longitudinal direction of the outer periphery of the cover member (3).

According to this configuration, other loads can be freely hung from the hanging portion without being affected by the load placed on the main body.

Also, in this case, the plurality of hanging portions (13) may be formed in a plurality of loops by sewing another cord-like or belt-like member loosely around the outer circumference of the cover member (3).

According to this configuration, it is possible to form a plurality of suspended portions with a simple configuration in which the number of parts is reduced.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a luggage support for a vehicle which is lightweight and highly flexible, is easy to handle, requires only a small storage space when not in use, and is highly versatile because it is not subject to restrictions on mounting locations and applications.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 is a perspective view of a vehicle luggage support according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a partial perspective view showing a partially opened cover member of the vehicle luggage support, FIG. 3 is an enlarged detailed view of part A of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is an enlarged detailed view of part B of FIG. 1, and FIG. 5 is an enlarged detailed view of part C of FIG.

A luggage support for a vehicle (hereinafter referred to as a "hanging bar" in the description of the present embodiment) 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention is generally arranged along the vehicle width direction in a vehicle interior, and is used by attaching both longitudinal ends (left and right ends) to, for example, left and right assist grips 30 (see FIG. 7) in the vehicle interior as described later.

The hanging bar 1 is constructed by attaching connecting members 5 to both ends (both left and right ends) in the longitudinal direction of an elongated body portion 4, which is formed by covering the outer surface of a flexible non-metallic (made of an elastically deformable elastic body) round bar-shaped (cylindrical) or cylindrical core member 2 (see FIG. 2) with a flexible cover member 3.

Here, in the present embodiment, a lightweight and highly elastic foamed urethane is used as a member constituting the core material 2, and a strip-shaped elongated fabric (fabric made of chemical fiber) is used for the cover member 3.

Also, as shown in detail in FIG. 3, each of the left and right connecting members 5 (only one of them is shown in FIG. 3) is composed of a length-adjustable belt (a string-like or band-like member in the present invention) 6 and a buckle 7 as a connecting tool that detachably connects both ends of the belt 6 to the main body 4. Here, one buckle 7 (left side in FIG. 3) is composed of a male member 7a attached to the body portion 4 and a female member 7b attached to one end of the belt 6, and the other (right side in FIG. 3) buckle 7 is composed of a female member 7b attached to the body portion 4 and a male member 7a attached to the other end of the belt 6. Then, as will be described later (see FIG. 6(a)), the male members 7a can be easily connected with one touch by simply inserting the respective male members 7a into the respective female members 7b.

Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 2, a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners (first fasteners) 8a and 8b are provided along the longitudinal direction at both ends in the width direction of the cover member 3 made of a strip-shaped elongated fabric, and a line fastener (slide fastener: second fastener) 9 is provided along the longitudinal direction inside the hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b of the cover member 3. The cover member 3 is wound around the core member 2 so as to cover the outer periphery of the core member 2 from the outside. First, both ends of the cover member 3 in the width direction are joined together by a wire fastener 9, and then a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b are joined together to form a cylindrical body, which covers the core member 2 and protects it from the outer peripheral side. In this case, since the cover member 3 is doubly joined by the wire fastener 9 and the hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b, the joining strength is enhanced, and since the wire fastener 9 is covered by a part of the cover member 3 and is not exposed to the outside, the appearance of the hanging bar 1 is not spoiled by the wire fastener 9.

As described above, in the present embodiment, after the band-shaped cover member 3 is wound around the core material 2, both ends in the width direction are easily joined with the hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b and the line fasteners 9 with one touch, so that the outer periphery of the core material 2 can be covered with the cover member 3 and the body part 4 can be easily assembled. In the present embodiment, both the hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b and the line fastener 9 are used to join the cover member 3, but in addition to this, although not shown in the drawings, only the hook-and-loop fasteners 8a and 8b or only the line fastener 9 may be used to join both ends of the cover member 3 in the width direction.

Further, in the hanging bar 1 according to the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, sub-belts (another cord-like or band-like member in the present invention) 10 are provided at two locations (two locations on the left and right) in the longitudinal direction of the outer periphery of the cover member 3 (body portion 4). Here, as shown in FIG. 4 (only one is shown in FIG. 4), each sub-belt 10 is composed of a belt 11 having one end attached to the outer periphery of the cover member 3 (body portion 4) and a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners 12a and 12b (see FIG. 4) provided at the other end (free end) of the belt 11 and the outer periphery of the cover member 3 (body portion 4).

Furthermore, in the hanging bar 1 according to the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of hanging loops (suspended portions) 13 are continuously provided along the longitudinal direction on the opposite side of the outer circumference of the cover member 3 to the side on which the sub-belt 10 is provided (lower side in FIG. 1). Here, as shown in detail in FIG. 5, the plurality of hanging loops 13 are formed by sewing one belt (still another string-like or band-like member in the present invention) 14 loosely around the outer periphery of the cover member 3. It can be hung from the hanging loop 13 through a carabiner 20, for example.

Next, a method of mounting the hanging bar 1 constructed as described above to the interior of the vehicle will be described with reference to FIGS. 6(a) to 6(e).

FIGS. 6(a) to 6(e) are partial perspective views showing the steps of how to attach the hanging bar. The hanging bar 1 is attached, for example, to assist grips 30 arranged on the left and right sides of the ceiling in the vehicle compartment in the following manner.

That is, one end of the belt 6 of the connecting member 5 is connected to the cover member 3 by the buckle 7, as shown in FIG. 6(a). One end of the belt 6 can be easily connected with one touch by inserting the male member 7a into the female member 7b on the belt 6 side while pressing both sides of the male member 7a on the cover member 3 side of the buckle 7 (left side in FIG. 6(a)) with fingers.

Next, as shown in FIG. 6(b), the male member 7a on the belt 6 side of the buckle 7 on the other side (on the right side in FIG. 6(b)) is passed through one of the assist grips 30 as shown by the arrow in the figure, and as shown in FIG. From this state, as shown in FIG. 6(d), the belt 6 is pulled and tightened in the direction of the arrow. In this way, after both ends of the hanging bar 1 are connected to predetermined locations in the vehicle compartment by the connecting members 5, the length of the belt 6 is adjusted to securely attach the hanging bar 1 to the predetermined locations without slack.

The above operations shown in FIGS. 6(a) to 6(d) are also performed on the opposite side of the hanging bar 1. FIG. As a result, the hanging bar 1 is arranged substantially horizontally in the vehicle width direction below the ceiling in the vehicle compartment as shown in FIG.

Here, a first usage pattern of the hanging bar 1 will be described with reference to FIG.

In the illustrated usage pattern, articles such as hangers 40 on which clothes are hung, cups 50, water bottles 60, etc. are hung on the hanging bar 1 whose left and right ends are attached by connecting members 5 to assist grips 30 arranged on the left and right sides of the vehicle interior. Specifically, the hanger 40 is hung on the outer circumference of the main body 4, and small items such as a cup 50 and a water bottle 60 are hung on a plurality of hanging loops 13 provided along the longitudinal direction of the main body 4 via carabiners 20.

Next, a second mode of use of the hanging bar 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. 8(a) to 8(c).

As shown in FIG. 9(b), the hanging bar 1 can be attached to the shafts 92 of the headrests 91 of the left and right seats 90 in the passenger compartment by means of the left and right connecting members 5 at the left and right ends thereof. That is, as shown in FIG. 9A, the male member 7a of the buckle 7 attached to one end of the belt 6 of the connecting member 5 (on the left side) is passed between the two left and right shafts 92 of the headrest 91 as indicated by the arrows in the figure. Then, one end (left end) of the hanging bar 1 is attached to the shaft 92 of the left headrest 91 . By performing similar work, the other end (right end) of the hanging bar 1 is also attached to the shaft 92 of the right headrest 91 as shown in FIG. 9(b).

As a result, the hanging bar 1 is horizontally attached to the upper part of the back surface of the left and right seats 90 . In this case, small items such as a hat 100, a cup 50, and a water bottle 60 can be hung from a plurality of hanging loops 13 provided along the longitudinal direction (vehicle width direction) of the main body 4 via carabiners 20, respectively.

As described above, according to the hanging bar 1 of the present embodiment, the body part 4 is composed of the core material 2 and the cover member 3, which are lightweight and highly flexible, so that it is easy to handle.

Furthermore, since the hanging bar 1 is highly flexible, even if the passenger accidentally bumps his or her head against the hanging bar 1, the passenger is hardly injured.

In addition, since both ends of the hanging bar 1 (main body part 4) can be attached by the belts 6 of the connecting member 5 without being restricted by the attachment location or application in the vehicle interior, the versatility of the hanging bar 1 can be enhanced.

Next, a fourth mode of use of the hanging bar 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. 10(a) and 10(b).

That is, FIGS. 10(a) and 10(b) are partial perspective views of the inside of the passenger compartment showing the fourth mode of use of the hanging bar 1. FIG. In this usage pattern, for example, the outer circumference of a metal (made of aluminum) bar member (outer cylinder) 15 used in a conventional hanging bar proposed in Patent Document 1 is covered with the cover member 3 of the hanging bar 1 of the present embodiment. That is, in the fourth usage pattern, the hanging bar 1-2 is configured by using only the cover member 3 in a form covering the bar member 15 of the conventional structure without using the core member 2 that constitutes the main body portion 4 of the hanging bar 1 of the present invention (this embodiment). Here, as shown in FIG. 10B, two hanging bars 1-2 along the vehicle width direction are arranged in parallel in the vehicle front-rear direction, and the left and right ends of each hanging bar 1-2 are fixed by hooking hooks 16 fixed to the ends of bar members 15 to the left and right assist grips 30.

As shown in FIG. 10B, a relatively large and heavy load such as a surfboard 70 can be placed on the hanging bar 1-2, which is constructed by covering the outer periphery of the metal bar member 15 with the cover member 3. In this case, as shown in FIG. 10A, the belts 6 of the left and right connecting members 5 provided on each cover member 3 are connected to each other.

That is, as shown in FIG. 10(a), the female member 7b of the buckle 7 attached to one end of the belt 6 of the connecting member 5 on one side (the left side in FIG. 10(a)) is inserted into the male member 7a on the cover member 3 side to connect them, and the male member 7a of the buckle 7 attached to one end of the belt 6 of the other connecting member 5 (on the right side in FIG. 10(a)) is inserted into the female member 7b on the cover member 3 side to connect them. Then, the male member 7a attached to the end of one belt 6 is inserted into the female member 7b attached to the end of the other belt 6 to connect them, and the left and right belts 6 are connected to each other.

When the belts 6 of the left and right connecting members 5 are connected to each other as described above, as shown in FIG. By fixing the surfboard 70 with a long belt 6 connected to one of the left and right connecting members 5, the lateral movement of the surfboard 70 can be prevented.

It should be noted that the usage pattern described above is merely an example, and the vehicle hanging bar according to the present invention can be used in various other applications.

Moreover, the present invention is not limited in application to the embodiments described above, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the technical ideas described in the claims, the specification and the drawings. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the connection member 5 is attached to both ends of the cover member 3 in the longitudinal direction, but the connection member 5 can also be attached near the both ends of the cover member 3 in the longitudinal direction (inside the both ends). Also, the connecting member 5 can be attached to the core member 2 instead of the cover member 3 .

Further, in the above embodiment, the string-like or belt-like member according to the present invention is the belt-like belt 6, but it is also possible to use a string-like member instead. Similarly, in the above embodiment, another string-like or belt-like member according to the present invention is the belt-like sub-belt 10, but it is also possible to use a string-like member instead. Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, another string-like or belt-like member constituting the hanging portion according to the present invention is a single belt-like belt 14, but instead of this, it can be configured with a single string-like member.

Claims (8)

A rod-shaped vehicle luggage support that is used by being attached in the vicinity of the ceiling part in the vehicle interior spaced apart from the ceiling part ,
a main body having an elongated core made of a flexible non-metallic member and a flexible cover member covering the core;
and connecting members that are attached to or near the longitudinal ends of the main body and connected to predetermined locations in a vehicle compartment. 2. The load support for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the connecting members are attached to or near longitudinal ends of the cover member. 3. The luggage support for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the cover member is made of a belt-shaped cloth, and is formed into a tubular shape covering the core material by joining both width direction end portions or the vicinity thereof with both a first detachable locking member and a second locking member provided along the longitudinal direction. The luggage support for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of suspending portions for suspending luggage are provided along the longitudinal direction of the outer circumference of the cover member. 8. The luggage support for a vehicle according to claim 7, wherein the plurality of suspended portions are formed in a plurality of loops by sewing a string-like or band-like member loosely around the outer periphery of the cover member.
