Description

The present invention relates to karaoke systems.

In a karaoke system, an appearance image (hereinafter referred to as a person's image) of an artist who released a song (original song artist) may be displayed as a background image during karaoke performance. For example, a karaoke system has been proposed that displays artist-related information together with the artist's own video (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Such an artist's personal image is a suitable means for arousing the interest of karaoke users.

By the way, some people find it offensive that a scandalous artist is appearing on TV or in a movie. Similarly, in karaoke performances, some users feel uncomfortable that the image of the artist who caused the scandal is used as the background image.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a karaoke system that does not make users feel uncomfortable even when karaoke performances of songs by artists who have caused scandals are performed.

The main invention for achieving the above object is a karaoke system in which a server device and a karaoke device are communicably connected, wherein the server device comprises a search unit for requesting an external information providing server to search using the artist name of a song that can be played karaoke on the karaoke device as a keyword, an analysis unit for analyzing the search result obtained from the information providing server and specifying an artist name associated with a negative word, and a transmission unit for sending an instruction to register the artist name associated with the negative word to the karaoke device. The apparatus comprises: a storage unit storing an artist name of the song and a background image including the artist's principal image in association with each other; an obtaining unit for obtaining and registering the artist name associated with the negative word from the server device; and a display control unit for displaying the background image associated with the music on a display means in synchronism with the karaoke performance of the music, wherein the display control unit prohibits the display of the principal image during the karaoke performance of the music associated with the artist name when the artist name associated with the negative word is registered in the obtaining unit.

According to the present invention, the server device is provided with search results using the artist name as a keyword from the information providing server, and the server device identifies the artist name associated with the negative word from the search result as the artist name causing the scandal. The name of the artist associated with the negative word is transmitted from the server device to the karaoke machine, and the karaoke machine is prohibited from displaying the image of the artist himself. Therefore, even if the music of the artist who caused the scandal is played in karaoke, the image of the artist himself is not displayed, so that the user does not feel uncomfortable.

The karaoke system 1 of this embodiment will be described below. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a karaoke system 1 of this embodiment. FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of the karaoke system 1 of this embodiment. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of management information of the server device 2 of the present embodiment, where (A) shows a search list and (B) shows a negative word list. For convenience of explanation, the functional block diagram of FIG. 2 mainly shows functional blocks related to the display control of the artist's own video.

As shown in FIG. 1, a karaoke system 1 is managed by a karaoke business, and includes a karaoke machine 3 installed in a karaoke parlor and a server device 2 installed in a data center or the like. Karaoke machine 3 is communicatively connected to server device 2 via network 4 . An external information providing server 5 managed by an external business operator is connected to the server device 2 via a network 4 . The information providing server 5 manages various types of information collected from news sites, portal sites, SNS (Social Networking Service) sites, etc. on external networks.

The karaoke machine 3 includes a karaoke main body 30 , a monitor (display means) 11 , a speaker 12 , a microphone 13 and a remote control device 14 . The monitor 11 displays the lyrics telop together with the background image in time with the karaoke performance of the music. The speaker 12 emits the user's singing voice together with the performance sound of the music. The microphone 13 converts the user's singing voice into a singing voice signal and outputs the singing voice signal to the karaoke main body 30 . The remote control device 14 is connected to the karaoke main body 30 via wireless communication so as to be able to transmit and receive, and accepts various operations by the user such as music reservation for the karaoke main body 30 .

When music is reserved by the remote control device 14 and the karaoke performance is started by the karaoke main body 30 , lyrics telops and background images are displayed on the monitor 11 according to various data of the karaoke main body 30 . Also, the accompaniment sound signal of the karaoke performance and the singing voice signal input from the microphone 13 to the karaoke main body 30 are mixed at an appropriate ratio by the mixer. Thus, when the user sings along with the karaoke performance, the singing voice is emitted from the speaker 12 together with the performance sound.

In such a karaoke device 3, an artist's own image such as MV (Music Video) or live image may be used as a background image of a song being played in karaoke. When an artist's scandal is discovered, it is desirable to prohibit the display of the artist's own image so as not to make the user feel uncomfortable. Therefore, the server device 2 periodically collects information about artists from an external information providing server 5, notifies the karaoke device 3 of the artist who caused the scandal, and prohibits the karaoke device 3 from displaying the image of the artist himself.

The information providing server 5 shown in FIG. 2 manages, for example, news articles in the entertainment field posted on each news site. The information providing server 5 receives input of keywords and is configured to be able to output news articles containing the keywords as search results. As a news article, text data indicating the content of the article may be output as the search result, or text data indicating the title of the article may be output as the search result. The information providing server 5 may visit the site to collect news articles, or the information providing server 5 itself may operate the news site.

The server device 2 is provided with a search section 21 , an analysis section 22 and a transmission section 23 . The search unit 21 requests the information providing server 5 to perform a search using, as a keyword, the name of an artist whose image is used as a background image among the artist names of songs that can be played on the karaoke device 3 . The server device 2 manages a list of artist names whose background images are based on the person's own image. The search list is referred to by the search unit 21, and a search request using the artist name as a keyword is transmitted from the search unit 21 to the information providing server 5 periodically (for example, at 7 o'clock every morning).

For example, as shown in FIG. 3A, artist names "artist A", "artist B", "artist C", "artist D", . The information providing server 5 searches for a news article containing the artist name, and the information providing server 5 returns a search response storing the news article to the analysis unit 22 . Note that the artist name is not limited to the artist's official name, and may be an artist's nickname or abbreviation.

The analysis unit 22 analyzes the search results obtained from the information providing server 5 and identifies artist names related to negative words. Keywords related to scandals are managed as negative words in the server device 2 , and the negative words are extracted from news articles by the analysis unit 22 . When the correlation between an artist name and a negative word is extracted from a news article by natural language analysis such as text mining, or when the artist name and a negative word are extracted from the title of a news article, the artist who caused the scandal is identified.

For example, as shown in FIG. 3B, negative words are listed, and the negative words "arrest", "accident", "black market", and so on are registered in the negative word list. A negative word may be any word that gives a bad impression to the user, and is appropriately set by the server administrator or the like. When the following news article titles are acquired from the information providing server 5 by the analysis unit 22, the text data of each title is analyzed, and artist A is specified from the news articles containing "arrest".

The transmission unit 23 transmits to the karaoke device 3 an instruction to register the artist name associated with the negative word. At this time, the transmission history is referred to by the transmission unit 23 to determine whether or not an artist name registration instruction has been transmitted. If the registration instruction for the artist name (for example, artist A) has been transmitted, the transmission process is stopped so that the transmission process for the registration instruction for the same artist name is not repeated. If the registration instruction for the artist name (for example, artist A) has not been transmitted, the registration instruction transmission process is executed, and the transmission history of the registration instruction for this artist name is stored.

The karaoke main body 30 of the karaoke device 3 is provided with an acquisition section 31 , a karaoke performance means 32 , a storage section 33 , a video storage section 34 and a display control section 35 . The acquisition unit 31 acquires an artist name registration instruction related to the negative word from the server device 2 and registers this artist name in the display prohibition list. For example, the obtaining unit 31 registers artist A related to the negative word "arrest" in the display prohibition list. While the artist name is registered in the display prohibition list, the artist's own image is prohibited from being displayed on the monitor 11 as a background image during karaoke performance.

The karaoke playing means 32 reads out the music ID from the reservation management table, and outputs the music ID to the storage section 33 when reproducing the music data corresponding to the music ID. The storage unit 33 stores the song ID of the song distributed from the server device 2, the image ID of the background image including the artist's own image, and the artist name in association with each other. When the music ID is input from the karaoke performance means 32 to the storage part 33, the image ID associated with the music ID is output from the storage part 33 to the image storage part 34, and the artist name associated with the music ID is output from the storage part 33 to the display control part 35.

Background images are stored in the image storage unit 34 for each image ID. When the image ID is input from the storage unit 33 to the image storage unit 34 , the background image associated with the image ID is output from the image storage unit 34 to the display control unit 35 . The background video includes not only the artist's own video, but also a normal general-purpose video. Ordinary general-purpose images are images assigned based on landscape images and music genres. When the video ID is associated with the artist's personal video, the same video ID is also associated with a normal general-purpose video for replacing the personal video.

The display control unit 35 causes the monitor 11 to display the background image associated with the song in synchronization with the karaoke performance of the song. In addition, when an artist name associated with a negative word is registered in the display prohibition list, the display control unit 35 prohibits the display of the person's image during the karaoke performance of the song associated with this artist name. A display control part 35 compares the artist name registered in the display prohibition list with the artist name input from the storage part 33, and determines whether or not the artist name of the musical piece to be performed in karaoke is registered in the display prohibition list.

When the artist name is not registered in the display prohibition list, the artist's personal image is displayed on the monitor 11 if the artist's personal image is available, and the normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11 if the personal image is not available. When an artist name is registered in the display prohibition list, a normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11 regardless of the presence or absence of the artist's personal image. For example, if artist A is registered in the display prohibition list, when artist A plays music X, normal general-purpose video is displayed instead of the person's video. In this way, the display of the image of the artist who caused the scandal is prohibited.

Further, when the interest in the artist's scandal has subsided after the display of the artist's identity video is prohibited, the display control unit 35 lifts the ban on the display of the artist's identity video. Since news articles about the artist are periodically sent from the information providing server 5 to the server device 2, changes in interest in the artist's scandals can be recognized from the news articles. In the server device 2, the artist name registered in the display prohibition list is specified from the transmission history of the registration instruction of the artist name, and the analysis unit 22 analyzes the news article about this registered artist.

The analysis unit 22 identifies artist names associated with the negative word in the previous analysis but not associated with the negative word in the current analysis. If negative words related to the registered artist name are not extracted from the news article, it is analyzed that the artist has caused a scandal in the past and the interest in the scandal has calmed down now. For example, if no news article about artist A is transmitted from the information providing server 5 to the server device 2, artist A is specified as an artist unrelated to the negative word.

The transmission unit 23 transmits to the karaoke device 3 an instruction to delete the artist name unrelated to the negative word. When an artist name (for example, artist A) deletion instruction is transmitted from the transmission unit 23, the transmission history of the artist name registration instruction is deleted. The acquisition unit 31 of the karaoke device 3 acquires an instruction to delete the artist name unrelated to the negative word from the server device 2, and deletes the registration of this artist name from the display prohibition list. For example, if artist A and artist C are registered in the display prohibition list, the registration of artist A is deleted from the display prohibition list.

In the display control unit 35, display of the personal video of the artist deleted from the display prohibition list is lifted. If the artist name remains in the display prohibition list, a normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11 regardless of the presence or absence of the artist's personal image. When the registration of the artist name is deleted from the display prohibition list, if there is a person's image of this artist, the person's image is displayed on the monitor 11, and if there is no person's image, a normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11. For example, when the song X by the artist A is played, the display of the person's image is lifted. In this way, the ban on the display of the artist's personal image, whose interest in the scandal has subsided, is lifted.

Note that the acquisition unit 31 may delete the artist name from the display prohibition list after a predetermined period (for example, one month) has elapsed after storing the artist name associated with the negative word, that is, the name of the artist who caused the scandal. After a predetermined period of time has elapsed from the discovery of the artist's scandal, since interest in the scandal has subsided, the display of the artist's own image is automatically lifted. In this manner, display of the person's image is lifted by an artist name deletion instruction, and display of the person's image is released after a predetermined period of time has passed even if there is no artist name deletion instruction. Further, when the artist name is deleted from the display prohibition list, the acquisition unit 31 preferably instructs the server device 2 to delete the transmission history of the artist name registration instruction.

Further, the processing of each part of the server device 2 and the karaoke device 3 may be realized by software using a processor, or may be realized by a logic circuit (hardware) formed in an integrated circuit or the like. When a processor is used, various processes are performed by the processor reading and executing programs stored in the memory. For example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) is used as the processor. In addition, the memory is composed of one or a plurality of storage media such as ROM (Read Only Memory), RAM (Random Access Memory), etc., depending on the application.

The processing operation of the karaoke system will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is a flow chart showing the processing operation of the server device 2 of this embodiment. FIG. 5 is a flow chart showing the processing operation of the karaoke machine 3 of this embodiment. The flowcharts shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 are examples, and the processing operations of the server device 2 and the karaoke device 3 are not limited to these flowcharts. 4 and 5, description will be made using the reference numerals in FIG. 2 as appropriate.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the periodical search timing arrives in the server device 2 (Yes in step S01), the search unit 21 reads the artist name according to the search list, and requests the information providing server 5 to perform a search using the artist name as a keyword (step S02). Next, the news article including the artist name is obtained as a search result from the information providing server 5 by the analysis unit 22 (step S03). Next, the analysis unit 22 analyzes the news article about the artist and determines whether or not it contains a negative word such as "arrested" (step S04).

If the news article contains a negative word (Yes in step S04), the name of the artist associated with the negative word, that is, the name of the artist who caused the scandal is identified (step S05). When the artist name registration instruction transmission history is not stored (No in step S06), the artist name registration instruction for the display prohibition list is transmitted from the transmission unit 23 to the karaoke device 3, and the transmission history is stored (step S07). When this artist name registration instruction transmission history is stored (Yes in step S06), the artist name registration instruction to the prohibition list has already been transmitted from the transmission unit 23 to the karaoke device 3, so the processing shifts to step S10.

On the other hand, if the news article does not contain a negative word (No in step S04), it is determined whether or not the transmission history of the artist name registration instruction is stored (step S08). If the transmission history is not stored (No in step S08), the artist has not caused any scandal, so the process proceeds to step S10. If the transmission history is stored (Yes in step S08), the artist is an artist whose interest in the scandal has subsided, so an instruction to delete the artist name from the display prohibition list is transmitted from the transmission unit 23 to the karaoke device 3, and the transmission history is deleted (step S09).

Then, the processing from step S02 to step S09 is repeated until the search request using all the artist names registered in the search list as keywords is completed (step S10). In this way, when an artist causes a scandal, the server device 2 sends to the karaoke device 3 an instruction to register the artist's name in the display prohibition list in order to prohibit the display of the image of the artist himself/herself. When the artist's interest in the scandal has subsided, the server device 2 sends an instruction to delete the artist's name from the display prohibition list to the karaoke device 3 in order to release the display of the person's image.

As shown in FIG. 5, the karaoke device 3 monitors registration instructions and deletion instructions of artist names transmitted from the server device 2 . When the acquisition unit 31 acquires an artist name registration instruction (Yes in step S21), the artist name is registered in the display prohibition list (step S22). On the other hand, if the acquisition unit 31 acquires an artist name deletion instruction (Yes in step S23), the artist name is deleted from the display prohibition list (step S24). When a song is reserved and registered by the user (Yes in step S25), the display prohibition list is referred to, and the display control unit 35 determines whether or not the artist name of the song is on the display prohibition list (step S26).

If the artist name of the song is the artist name on the display prohibition list (Yes at step S26), the display control unit 35 displays a normal general-purpose image on the monitor 11 regardless of the presence or absence of the artist's own image (step S27). If the artist name of the song is not the artist name on the display prohibition list (No in step S26), it is determined whether or not there is an image of the artist himself (step S28). If there is the artist's own image (Yes in step S28), the artist's own image is displayed on the monitor 11 (step S29). If there is no image of the artist himself (No in step S28), a normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11 (step S27).

Each process from step S21 to step S29 is performed each time an artist name registration instruction or deletion instruction for the display prohibition list is transmitted from the server apparatus 2 to the karaoke apparatus 3 . In this way, when an artist causes a scandal, display of the artist's own image is prohibited, and a normal general-purpose image is displayed on the monitor 11 instead of the artist's own image. When the artist's interest in the scandal has subsided, the monitor 11 displays the artist's personal image or a normal general-purpose image depending on the presence or absence of the artist's personal image.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the information providing server 5 provides the server device 2 with search results using the artist name as a keyword, and the server device 2 specifies the artist name associated with the negative word from the search result as the artist name causing the scandal. The artist name associated with the negative word is transmitted from the server device 2 to the karaoke device 3, and the karaoke device 3 is prohibited from displaying the image of the artist himself/herself. Therefore, even if the music of the artist who caused the scandal is played in karaoke, the image of the artist himself is not displayed, so that the user does not feel uncomfortable.

In this embodiment, the information providing server provides news articles to the server device, but the information provided by the information providing server to the server device is not particularly limited. The information providing server may provide the search word ranking of the portal site and the tweets of the Twitter (trademark registered) site to the server device.

Further, in the present embodiment, the search unit of the server device periodically requests the information providing device to perform a search, but may request the information providing device to perform a search at any timing.

In the present embodiment, the search unit of the server uses the artist whose background image is the artist as a keyword, but may use all artists who can perform karaoke on the karaoke machine as the keyword.

Further, in this embodiment, the information providing server is installed outside the karaoke system, but the information providing server may be installed in the karaoke system.

Further, in this embodiment, the analysis unit of the server device may analyze the artist's degree of interest in the scandal based on the amount of increase and decrease in the amount of information related to the scandal of the artist. If the degree of interest in the artist's scandal increases, the name of the scandalous artist, that is, the artist name associated with the negative word is identified. If the artist's interest in the scandal has decreased, identify the artist whose interest in the scandal has subsided, that is, the name of the artist unrelated to the negative word in this analysis.

Further, in the present embodiment, the storage unit of the karaoke device stores the music ID, the video ID, and the artist name in association with each other, and the video storage unit of the karaoke device stores the background video for each video ID. However, the configuration of the storage unit and the video storage unit is not limited. In the storage unit of the karaoke machine, the music, the artist name of the music, and the background image including the artist's personal image may be stored in association with each other.

Further, in the present embodiment, search keywords and analysis negative words are managed in a list format, but the management format of search keywords and analysis negative words is not particularly limited. Keywords for search and negative words for analysis may be managed by a server device.

Further, in this embodiment, the artist names whose display is prohibited are managed in a list format, but the management format of the artist names whose display is prohibited is not particularly limited. Artist names whose display is prohibited should be managed by the karaoke device.

Also, in this embodiment, when the display of the artist's own image is prohibited, a normal general-purpose image is displayed instead of the artist's image.

Also, the program of the present embodiment described above may be stored in a storage medium. The storage medium is not particularly limited, but may be a non-transitory storage medium such as an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, or a flash memory.

Also, although the present embodiment has been described, other embodiments may be obtained by combining the above-described embodiments and modifications in whole or in part.

Moreover, the technology of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and may be variously changed, replaced, and modified without departing from the spirit of the technical idea. Furthermore, if the technical idea can be realized in another way due to advances in technology or another derived technology, the method may be used for implementation. Therefore, the claims cover all implementations that may fall within the scope of the technical concept.

A karaoke system in which a server device and a karaoke device are communicably connected,

an analysis unit that analyzes search results obtained from the information providing server and identifies artist names related to negative words;
a transmission unit that transmits an instruction to register an artist name associated with the negative word to the karaoke device;
