R'およびR1~R6は、同一または異なり、それぞれ独立して、水素;ハロゲン基;アルコキシ基、ハロゲン基又はフェニル基で置換もしくは非置換のアルキル基;非置換のシクロアルキル基;ヒドロキシ基で置換もしくは非置換のアリール基であるか、または隣接したR3基と互いに結合して環を形成し、
M1~M5の少なくとも1つ、M6~M10の少なくとも1つ、M11~M15の少なくとも1つ、およびM16~M20の少なくとも1つは、それぞれ独立して、下記化学式2で表される置換基であり、残りは、水素であり、

A1およびA2は、同一または異なり、それぞれ独立して、水素;ハロゲン基;置換もしくは非置換のアルキル基;非置換のシクロアルキル基;又は置換もしくは非置換のアリール基;である。 - 前記化学式1で表される化合物は、下記の化合物のいずれか1つで表されるものである、

バックライトユニット。 - 請求項12に記載のバックライトユニットを含む
ディスプレイ装置。
