Description
心臓電気生理学(EP)及び副鼻腔形成術などのいくつかの医療処置は、患者の器官内の標的位置に医療用プローブをナビゲートすることを伴ってもよい。症例によっては、処置を実行する医師は、問題の器官内へプローブをナビゲートし、標的位置にプローブをセッティングする際の課題に直面する場合がある。例えば、カテーテルを患者身体内に押し込むと、器官組織への損傷を引き起こすおそれがある。更に、いくつかの処置では、プローブを所望の角度から接近させ、プローブと組織との間の適切な物理的接触を標的位置で行うことが重要である。
