Description

The present invention relates to a spray unit, a urinal with a spray unit, and a method of using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a spray part for maintaining the hygiene of men's private parts (mainly genitals), a urinal with a spray part, and a method of using the same.

Patent Document 1 discloses a private parts cleaning device for men. This men's private parts cleaning device is a men's urinal equipped with a men's private parts cleaning mechanism having a cleaning nozzle supported by a flexible pipe.

As people age, many people have problems with urination, such as having to close the toilet or leaking urine. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a spray unit, a urinal with a spray unit, and a method for using the same, which suppress the occurrence of urine odor by cleaning private parts, such as areas where urine has adhered, mainly the genital area.

The cleaning water 20 sprayed from the spray unit 3 may be water or sterilized water, or an aqueous solution containing a disinfectant or a deodorant. The cleaning water 20 may be warm water. In the case of hot water, it is preferable to provide a heater to heat the water to a predetermined temperature or a mechanism for adjusting the temperature (not shown). Note that the cleaning water 20 may be supplied from the same water supply source as the cleaning water flowing into the main body 5.

Next, the spray section 3 will be explained using FIG. 2. FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the piping of the spray section 3.
The spraying section 3 includes a piping section 3d that communicates with a water supply channel 3b connected to a water supply source (water supply valve) 3a via an electromagnetic valve 3c, and a nozzle section 3e provided at the tip of the piping section 3d.
In this embodiment, the water supply valve 3a is provided inside the wall portion 18 (see FIG. 3) of the toilet. The water supply channel 3b communicates with the inside of the human body sensor 6. The solenoid valve 3c is provided inside the human body sensor 6. The solenoid valve 3c is normally closed and is opened when energized based on a signal from the detection switch section 4. Note that the water supply channel 3b and the solenoid valve 3c may be provided inside the wall portion 18 of the toilet.
The piping section 3d is arranged within the main body 5. Note that the piping portion 3d may be placed outside the main body 5. When disposed outside, the piping section 3d becomes a member that holds the nozzle section 3e.
In this embodiment, one nozzle portion 3e is provided. It is provided inside the protrusion 5f of the main body 5. The spray direction of the nozzle portion 3e is toward the lower left when viewed from the front. Also, it is rearward and downward in side view (see Fig. 3). Note that the nozzle portion 3e may be provided near the upper end and front end of the opposite side wall (left side wall) 5b.

If the nozzle portion 3e can be placed forward, spraying can be performed by tilting it at a large angle (see reference numeral 19 in FIG. 3) toward the back wall 5d, and the cleaning water 20 can be prevented from leaking out of the main body 5.

Immediately after the mist-like cleaning water 20 is sprayed from the nozzle portion 3e, the spray has momentum and travels in a straight line, and gradually spreads outward as it travels downward. Therefore, the shape of the spray becomes a conical shape with the nozzle portion 3e as the apex. The conical shape is defined as a spray shape 23. The diameter of the bottom shape 23a of the spray shape 23 is defined as the spray diameter 24 (see FIG. 5a). After forming the bottom shape 23a, the cleaning water 20 spreads further outside beyond the spray diameter 24, scatters, and evaporates, or falls to the bottom 5a of the main body 5 as a liquid.

Here, the reference numeral 25 indicates the range of cleaning assumed for cleaning private parts of the human body by spraying. The assumed cleaning range 25 is a vertical range near the private parts of the human body to be cleaned, mainly near the private parts. In this embodiment, the height is based on the average height of an adult male. Note that the adult male who should be the standard may be an elderly person. For example, an elderly person may be a person between 65 and 80 years old. In the front-rear direction, the standing position of the user 21 changes depending on the shape of the bottom portion 5a and peripheral wall 5c of the main body 5 in plan view, so the spray section 3 is adjusted according to the shape of the main body 5.

The detection switch section 4 is provided on the upper surface side of the human body sensor 6 in this embodiment. That is, the detection switch section 4 detects the proximity of the human body sensor 6 upward. The human body sensor 6 is located on the front side of the main body 5 and detects the proximity and separation of the user 21 from the neck to the chest area. On the other hand, the detection switch section 4 detects the approach and separation of other parts on the upper surface side of the main body 5 that are not detected by the human body sensor 6. In this embodiment, the approach and separation of the head 22 (see FIG. 4) of the user 21 is detected. When the head 22 approaches, the solenoid valve 3c opens based on the signal from the detection switch section 4, and the spray section 3 sprays the cleaning water 20.
