Thereby, the brightness of the slope illumination section 413 can be adjusted in accordance with the brightness of the lower illumination section 411 and the brightness of the upper illumination section 412.

Furthermore, when the illuminance of the lower part of the parapet 21 is higher than the illuminance of the upper part of the parapet 22, the lighting control device 43 controls the lower illumination part so that the brightness of the upper part illumination part 412 becomes stronger than the brightness of the lower part illumination part 411. The brightness of each of 411 and upper illumination section 412 is adjusted separately. Thereby, the illuminance of the lower balustrade 21 and the illuminance of the upper balustrade 22 can be made closer to each other.

Furthermore, when the illuminance of the upper part 22 of the parapet is higher than the illuminance of the lower part 21 of the parapet, the lighting control device 43 controls the lower illumination part so that the brightness of the lower part illumination part 411 becomes stronger than the brightness of the upper part illumination part 412. The brightness of each of 411 and upper illumination section 412 is adjusted separately. Thereby, the illuminance of the lower balustrade 21 and the illuminance of the upper balustrade 22 can be made closer to each other.

In addition, in Embodiment 1, the structure in which the color of the light of the illumination device main body 41 is one color was explained. However, the lighting control device 43 may change the color of the light emitted by the lighting device main body 41 depending on the brightness of the lighting device main body 41. Specifically, the color of light in a relatively dark portion of the lighting device main body 41 may be blue, and the color of light in a relatively bright portion of the lighting device main body 41 may be white. Furthermore, the color of the light emitted by the lighting device main body 41 may be adjusted depending on the season, temperature, time of day, and the like. Specifically, when the season is winter, the light color is a warm color when the temperature is relatively low or when the time is night time, and when the season is summer, the temperature is relatively low. If the time is high or the time is daytime, the color of the light may be a cool color.

Furthermore, in the first embodiment, the lighting device main body 41 made up of LEDs has been described. However, the lighting device main body 41 is not limited to this, and may be configured from other lighting equipment.

Furthermore, in the first embodiment, the illumination device main body 41 arranged along the movable handrail 3 has been described. However, the lighting device main body 41 is not limited to this, and may be made of, for example, a comb light.

Furthermore, in the first embodiment, a configuration in which the lighting device main body 41 lights up has been described.
