Description
リグノセルロースのバイオマス(木材、農業廃棄物、農業および産業的農業の副産物)の、エネルギー密度が高く、輸送可能で、容易に貯蔵可能な化合物への変換は、静的エネルギー産業分野(バイオ燃料オイルに対して、家庭において、決まった時点で使用されるバイオ燃料)の開発および強化を可能にし、環境負荷を軽減する(CO2化石排出、肥料または植物衛生製品を含まないバイオマスを用いる)。
欧州特許EP2373767B1は、先行技術として公知であり、リグニン含有材料から黒色ペレットを製造するための不連続的な方法を記載している。
(a)相対湿度が0~20重量%であるリグニン含有材料を、反応器内に通すステップ;
(b)反応器内へ水蒸気を噴射することによって、リグニン含有材料を180~235℃に加熱するステップ
(c)材料を軟化して、リグニンを放出するために、到達温度で、1~12分間、材料を反応器に保持するステップ
(d)少なくとも1つのステップにおいて、反応器内の圧力を低減するステップ;および
(e)タブレットまたはコンパクトを形成するために、処理された材料を成形するステップ。
黒色ペレットを製造するための先行技術の解決手段は有望である。しかし、これらには制限があり、特に、ペレットの体積当たりのエネルギー供給量は、同じ体積または重量である場合、バー形態または白色ペレット形態のバイオマスの体積当たりのエネルギー供給量より大きいが、それでも炭素の体積当たりのエネルギー供給量より、30~40%小さい。
これらの問題点を克服するために、本発明は、本発明のもっとも一般的な意義に従って、バイオマスを活用する方法に関し、当該方法は、ペレット化燃料製品を製造するための水蒸気分解ステップを含み、前記ペレット化ステップの前に、バイオマスの水蒸気分解由来の中間粉末製品と、高いリグニン含有量を有する粉末材料と、を混合するステップを含むことを特徴とする。
-一方で化学化合物または生化学化合物を、他方でリグニンを製造するための、水蒸気分解由来の前記中間製品の第1の化学的処理または生化学的処理
-前記中間製品と、第1の処理によって少なくとも一部が得られたリグニンと、を混合することによる、第2の処理
-第2の処理の最後に、混合物をペレット化するためのペレット化ステップ。
-水蒸気分解されたバイオマスを製造するための、水蒸気分解ステップであって、前記水蒸気分解されたバイオマスの少なくとも50重量%が、前記水蒸気分解されたバイオマスの残留部の化学的処理または生化学的処理によって得られるリグニン画分と混合される。
-前記混合物をペレット化するためのペレット化ステップ。
以下の本発明の非限定的な実施形態の詳細な説明を、添付の図面を参照しながら読むことで、本発明をより明確に理解できるであろう。
図1は、本発明を実施するための装置のフローダイアグラムである。
(a)微粒子、おが屑、かんな屑、断片、セルロースのかんな屑、薄片、トリミング(trimming)、または小片の形態を達成するために、設備機器(10)において、バイオマス(1)を前処理して数cm3の粒子を減らすステップ、および任意で部分的乾燥を実施するステップ。
(b)次いで、前処理されたバイオマスを、反応器(20)内に通し、反応器(20)内へ水蒸気(21)を噴射することで、バイオマスの粒子を180~235℃の温度に加熱するステップ。第1の供給チャンバ(22)は、バイオマスを反応チャンバ(20)へと運ぶ。反応チャンバ(20)は、連続スクリューを含むか、または重力の影響での通過を可能にし、到達温度で、1~12分間、加水分解された材料を反応器へと運び、水蒸気分解されたバイオマスが低圧力区間を通過した後にバルブ(24)を有する出口区間(23)によって取り出されるまで、材料を軟化してリグニンを放出する。
有利な変形例によれば、水蒸気分解されたバイオマスに混合されるリグニンは、製紙業で製造される黒液の処理の副産物から回収され、液体リグニン相を形成する。
Claims (3)
- ペレット化燃料製品を製造するためにバイオマスを活用する方法であって、
中間粉末製品を製造するためのバイオマス水蒸気分解のステップを含み、
前記方法は、以下を含むことを特徴とする、方法:
-水蒸気分解由来の前記中間粉末製品を第1の部分と第2の部分の2つに分離するステップ、
-一方で化学化合物または生化学化合物を、他方で少なくとも50重量%のリグニンを有する材料を製造するための、水蒸気分解由来の前記中間粉末製品の前記第1の部分の第1の化学的処理または生化学的処理、
-前記中間粉末製品の前記第2の部分と前記第1の化学的処理または生化学的処理により得られた少なくとも50重量%のリグニンを有する前記材料とを混合することにより混合物を得る第2の処理であって、前記材料の2~30重量%が、前記中間粉末製品の前記第2の部分と混合される、前記第2の処理、
-前記混合物をペレット化するためのペレット化ステップ。 - 前記ペレット化燃料製品は、初期のバイオマスの発熱量の10%より大きい発熱量を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも50重量%のリグニンを含有する前記材料が、前記バイオマスに含まれるリグニンのレベルより大きい含有量を有する固体であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
